Premieres August 17th. I just saw a preview and WOW. They have some doozies lined up.
Overkill with Obsessions? Maybe, but hoarders are fascinating in what they choose to hoard and the reasons why the hoard. |

I didn't see this thread when I posted in the Obsessed thread. GOOD I like seeing the hoarders' shit and their angst at throwing the crap away. Plus spotting for rats when they clean up. Someone should open a combination eBay store / psych clinic and really cash in. |

I love how they're hand-holding and coddling the serial killerish husband, but they don't have the good sense to haul the old toys and playhouse away before the kids got home. Rotten food lady got the better psychologist. |

I give the wife a lot of credit. She's more than willing to do what needs to be done and she's handling it pretty well. Husband not so much.

The husband, ROn, creeps me the fuck out.
Food lady needs to eat the stuff she wants to keep as proof it is still good. It would be cheaper to pay for her funeral than clean that sewer up, I am thinking. |

A little bit off-topic (but not really, since I think Hoarders is kind of a spin-off from Obsessed), but I saw the mini-marathon of Obsessed today, and I recognized Ryan from being on True Life: I Have OCD like five years ago. Methinks he's trying to get back in the spotlight again (though mazeltov on the baby and actually marrying Nora). |
