Uh....Africa, Thailand, PI, Vanuatu, possibly Palau (forget what my opinion was at the time) sort of Guatemala, and China. So...between 5 and 7.

Hmmm my favorite to start a season is not always my favorite to win come merge.
Sean would have been my first ep fave in Borneo yet by merge, I really wanted Hatch to win. That said, my opening episode faves who went on to win: Thailand - had I watched enough that editing clued me in? Was it me being snarky and rooting for the guy I knew the least about? Was it the fact he just somehow seemed most at ease? Regardless, that was my guy and a helluva a season if you were rooting for him to win. Palau - Tom = God. A fellow NY'er and a hero, how could I NOT root for Tom? The only thing worrying me was that Tom was so fucking awesome there was no way he could win. Lucky for us he was also shrewd and allied himself with the pushovers. China - My greatest moment here at Sucks, eating shit ALL SEASON LONG from the Amanda fans only to be vindicated at the reunion show, though to be honest a lot of her fans were WTF at the final tribal. -SJ™ |

It is always my second favorites who end up winning.
Kelly (1st fave) lost to Rich (2nd fave)... Rob lost to Amber Aras won but I wanted Cirie Todd won over Courtney Y Parvati (2nd fave) won, but again, I wanted CIRIE!!! :D it's a catasthropy for the players I root for usually :D Maybe the only exception is Jenna M, but it was a long time ago and I can't remember how I felt exactly |
