Okay so I just started watching the first episode. Almost completely ignoring Kate in the over dramatic intro montage thing hate. They showed her maybe for a total of 1 second whereas they showed other people (who didn't win) over and over and over. They showed Lisa Mitchell more than Kate, lol.

Oh well onto this year's auditions.

Aliqua the girl from Guy Sebastian's school pre-audition hate. She's annoying. Didn't care for her singing either, it keep going and going and I wanted her to STFU. I'm not surprised the judges liked her though.

Kyle's dickfaceness is coming on strong already though, thank god he got turfed.

I can feel the sob stories coming too, at least OzI doesn't harp too hard on them, or at least they haven't done so up to this point.

OMG lol at the asian chick who sang Poker Face in a french maid like getup.

The cute brick layer who never sang in front of anyone before Scott love. He picked James Morrison which right off the bat gave him points from me. He need some work and coaching for his nerves but he has potential and he's adorable. I'm looking forward to seeing more from him, I hope he can handle it.

Crystal the 16 year old with the iPod hate. WTF? It was really funny that she couldn't hear them.

Why is Ricki-Lee giving advice? Didn't she get eliminated in 7th or 8th place?

Juvita the one whose mom has cancer was pretty good. A little smoker throaty for me but she was decent. She needs work too. I'm glad she got through.

Croatian wedding singer/single mom Mariana had a good voice but I would have liked to hear a different song. The judges were a little OTT for me though.

LOL @ the first online audition. He reminded me of Damien from Mean Girls.

The asian guy Vihn was laffos and I laughed when his last name was Bui b/c I thought he looked like Tahn Bui. He sucked obviously but I felt bad for him. I thought Dicko was at least polite to him.

Also again what is Ricki-Lee's purpose on this show?

Moire the Tasmanian/Irish girl was pretty good and she sang a folk song which is all kinds of win. The hair has to go though, it's fucking hideous. Cooly, weirdy, cool indeed.

Onto Queensland...

Kim the girl from Townsville who performs with the Hip Hop trio was not really my thing but she had a good voice. With a different song I could potentially enjoy her.

Ricki-Lee's uselessness continues. I hope the show is paying her in donuts or something and not money.

The Australian Ramiele Joanne was a little scary, very intense with her fake microphone.

The fat karaoke Kristy chick promised to be awful, I was just waiting for her audition to be over. Of course, she was awful.

They have such random pictures hanging besides the winners and runner ups. There's like a huge picture of Ricki-Lee hanging by the elevator and one of Mark Spano, like wtf.

The car detailer that sang "You're The Voice" Ben was awful. He seemed like a tool though so I was hoping he was bad. Dicko sang it better.

Casey Barnes instant love. As soon as I saw him with the baby I melted, I wanted him to be great. He sounded even better than he looked. I look forward to seeing more of him. I hope he does well.

Kate Cook the meat packer from Lowood seemed like a cool chick, lol at Kyle's description of her. Imagine an American Idol judge and contestant nonchalantly discussing a contestant's homosexuality in their audition, not happening. As mentioned by a couple people above this lesbian biker chick was really good. That's unfortunate about her mother.

The online auditioner who yelled Hallelujah, ugh.

Lucky hat chick Sheree Ann lol. What a hideous outfit. Kyle was such a douche to her.

Kevin Layton Australia's own Robbie Carrico, how lucky for them. That said this guy was cuter, a better singer and less of a poseur than Robbie. Could be good.

Lauren Street the former semi-finalist was promising.

The really old looking 16 year old Lucie that sang Beyonce's Ave Maria was pretty decent and didn't have an annoying 16 year old personality.

The guy who sang to Ricki-Lee hate.

Talina the white witch (wtf?) was defo a weirdo. Even if she was a good singer I doubt they'd want such a weirdo on their show but fortunately she sucked ass. At least she knew she sung like crap.

Finally the guy they hyped all episode, the 18 year old shop assistant was up. Stan did a really good version of "Ordinary People" by John Legend. He the easily the most impressive person all episode. I hope he can get over his nerves b/c he has a ton of potential. He could do really well on this show if he continues to sing like that. Beautiful voice. He sounded and looked a bit like Guy minus the fro.

The season is good so far, I'm looking forward to it. Except for Ricki-Lee of course.

I'm assuming since it's Sunday afternoon here then the next episode should be up soonish.

I'm looking forward to Syndey and this week's ep to see Delta Goodrem who is more exciting than her other half Brian. Gorgeous girl, beautiful voice, love her music.

I found the second episode already so I'll watch that and post about it here.

I like how fast Australia goes through their auditions, the next episode is already Sydney Top 100. I hate how AI drags auditions on for week on end.

Episode 2 just aired Sunday in Australia. Next week's episode is the Top 100 Sydney episode.

Ricki-Lee uselessness hate.

Some guy named Adam with a super creepy deep voice scariness. I want to hate him b/c he sucks but he's almost amusing.

Chantelle Perreau with many different voices was up next, maybe it's just me but all her voices sound pretty much the same. In any case her main voice sucks ass and she will not be the next Australian Idol. Marcia was really rude to her, it was lol.

Jason Bartlett who bombed out of the Top 100 in 2005 was back, Kyle liked him b/c he was a fatter, blonde version of him. He sang an original song and was actually really good. He could do well in this, people will like him I think. Dicko will be proved wrong.

Tenille Muslin from West Australia the hot train driver was back after she made the Top 100 in 2005 as well. She chose to sing Duffy and I instantly fell in love with her voice. I want to see more of this girl for sure. Beautiful, beautiful voice. Delta Goodrem displeasure for not thinking she's good enough. Train puns lol.

Lady GaGa was up next to give advice to the contestants. As usual she looked ridiculous but was nice to the contestants and gave good advice.

Cue montage of bad contestants singing "Poker Face."

Dr. Kat King came to Aussie Idol to let her inner diva out. She also chose to sing "Poker Face." Her singing wasn't awful and she was kind of hilarious and entertaining. Kyle the man whore loved it.

Jacinta Marshall sounded like the chick from Aqua a little. The man whores loved her but she sucked straight up and wasn't that hot.

Gareth wtf? There's no words. The first and last time you will ever hear Marcia say "take those saggy titties out of here."

Jamela the Samoan girl, not sure why she sang Whitney. She has potential but that song was too big for her. She'd do well to try not to be a diva belter type. She was good though and her wedding with Dicko will be planned for after her 18th birthday.

Roscoe Chew thought very highly of his voice, comparing it to Damien Leith of all people. Needless to say he didn't live up to his own hype. He sucked and was beyond creepy.

The previously hyped depression girl Sabrina was up next. Apparently she was a rising theater star in Australia before and this is her second chance. Marcia of course had to pry for her sob story. She went through severe depression, was hospitalized, has panic attacks and OCD. Some guy who is a friend of Marcia and Delta's has helped her a lot. She seems like a sweet girl. Her voice was a nice too, I hope she does well in this. Marcia told her if anyone messes with her she'll take care of it.

I'm totally falling for the sob stories this year. Maybe it's just the way OzI is so much more tasteful with the sob stories and not retarded OTT like AI.

Jamie from the gold ticket montage looks annoying.

Hayley used to be into sports, got diagnosed with a disease in her hip, couldn't play sports anymore, now she's in a rock band and loves music. Ricki-Lee useless input hate. Apparently she only has half a femur now. She sang "Daughters" by John Mayer and she actually had a decent voice, quite pretty for what they were hyping as a "rocker" voice. Delta said she needed to let loose more, 4 yes even though she needs more work.

One of her songs got heavy radio play here last year, "In This Life" which was superb. Seaguy turned me on to her wonderfulness actually. I acquired all of her CDs for my iPod after that. Such a beautiful, beautiful woman, and beautiful voice. She is a superstar Miki. It's unfortunate that all of these slutty media whores have killed legitimate pop music in North America. You don't get wonderful people like Delta becoming the big stars in the US and Canada anymore b/c their music isn't hypersexualized bullshit. I'd rather see her all over the magazine covers here than the likes of Miley Cyrus.

She's very impressive and inspirational too. When I read that she had cancer when she was 18, right in the middle of becoming I superstar and I was like jesus christ. How she dealt with all that so young and continued to go on and become so amazing and huge is beyond me. Inspiring.
