Confidentiality on Amazing Race |
Lead | |
|
Has any of you competed on the Amazing Race before? Could someone please tell me about how confidentiality is supposed/required by the producers to work on
the Amazing Race, whether or not you are a past contestant? For example, let's say that my friend and I are cast for a future season. Who are we allowed
to tell that we have been cast, and how much can we tell that person/those people?

Depends, do you know Erika Landin? Do you live in L.A.? Are you two blondes? Were you recruited because you went to the same school/barber/whatever as another
cast team?
If you said yes to any of these,YES. Tell as many people possible. |

We only told three family members who would be responsible for watching my other daughter and my husband's boss and that was it. My husband's boss
almost didn't sign because it would have put not only him but the company at risk for 10 million dollars. The people who sign the contracts have really
nothing to gain but everything to lose if they tell someone. I told everyone I was going to Singapore for a month with my husband for his job and they
believed me....I think.
