England got rid of the "divine right" thing after the Glorious Revolution, so it doesn't really apply to Bess anyway.

I couldn't find any exact figures, but all of the websites I looked at agreed that part of the reason the monarchy is still around is because the
'Royals' bring in more money in tourism than they cost to maintain.

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough. What I meant is that people, long long ago, actually believed in the theory of Divine Right thereby validating a monarchs
position. These days no one in their right mind believes that idea. However, some, not all, still want the institution, and believe it shouldn't be
abolished. To still want a monarchy doesn't mean one believes, in this day and age, in Divine Right; rather, some believe a monarchy is a nice tradition
filled with a rich history and for some gives one a sense of nationalistic pride.
