Yep! He couldn't afford to tip the cabbie 20 cents.
But Campbell and Bettman will look the other way. Can't have a Calder Cup winner suspended. Oh no sirree. Must have him keep playing and try to keep the Wings from winning.

get your apologies ready: Cambria (Kane's lawyer) also addressed a report in Tuesday's edition of the Buffalo News that Radecki had two drunken driving convictions and had no valid driver's license at the time of the incident. The Buffalo News said Radecki hung up the telephone when a reporter tried to talk to him Monday. LoTempio told the News he had represented Radecki in one unspecified DWI case, but would not comment on the license issue. "That's a matter that's going to be used to make a credibility determination concerning this guy," Cambria said on "The Waddle and Silvy Show." "Apparently, he's had other skirmishes with people in the past, and other difficulties, and all that will play out in the courtroom." |

Oh, and The Score's predictions always suck. Every year they pick a Canadian team to win because they're scared of pissing off their target audience (Canadians). Needless to say that none of their predictions have been right. I think Kouleas picked San Jose the last couple of years though. Maybe he'll be right this year. |

Anyone else watching the preseason 'Hockeyville' game, tonight? It's Vancouver vs. the Isles, in a small town in BC named Terrace, in their tiny
sportsplex - it seats just a bit over 1K, it seems.
The whole 'small town' aura is fantastic - a young local girl sang the anthems, and the mayor dropped the ceremonial puck.  You wouldn't get anything like this from the other three of the
'Big 4' sports.
