I've always kind of liked Kelly Clarkson, so I'm happy for once, going into a performance. Who knew that was possible. What's great is it's completely clear she's not lip-synching. And the song is actually pretty good too (I hadn't heard it before because I don't really listen to contemporary popular music). My only complaint would be that absolutely no one on stage is dancing. But know what, I'd much rather have something like this than endless weeks of Sean Kingston's anemic back-up dancers of Kristinia DeBarge's pop-strumpet prowling. And, for the record, Kelly can still pretty much command the stage. |

(And not dance.) Yay! Right away you can tell, no lip syncing. Thank you Kelly! Man, did American Idol get it right on Kelly Clarkson or what? She's adorable, has a huge set of pipes, and has been lucky to have some super catchy songs to sing. Hands down, no question, best musical guest of the year. And good luck topping it future Season 5 musical guests. |

half of Gaga's songs are background singers and recordings anyway so she practically does lip-sync. Miley and Taylor need to look into it as well. lol,
that's right about the American Idol contestants doing it... I had almost forgotten. That's really sad that that is what is becoming of the music

funny how big a scandal it was when Ashlee Simpson did it...that ruined her career and now everyone does it... wonder if she's pissed off about that
Tex yeah I'm not sure I'd give her a 7 on the outfit but I def wouldn't go higher than 3 on the hair. It looked flat and lifeless. |

1) Can this girl look any fatter? I swear every time she's seen in public it's likes she's put on more poundage. 2) When she sings, she seems out of breath (I attribute this to being out of shape) and also what's with the half arm lifts all the time. They must weight a ton as well. 3) Can she look any more disinterested in performing? She looks like bored 1/4 into the performance and want's to get the fuck off stage.
4) She always hide behind her mic stand. I figure she's so self concience about her weight she thinks she can hide behind it. It's also the same look she gives, a little look to the left and right surveying the crowd. Snoozfest as usual.

worse than lipsync........is autotune AND lipsync.........aka, britney and kanye and so many that can't sing for shit and are rich. I cant' stand it
and lady gagme is to style as to the last shit i took is to art and trust me there was nothing creative about it...or HER plus she hangs with perez so that in itself is a reason to hate that buttaface bitch as to kelly the girl needs to lose a few pds if just for health reasons |
