Say "I Do Not Hook Up" is a flop all you want, but no one can deny the staying power of "My Life Would Suck Without You," which has remained in the top 50 since January and amassed downloads approaching 2 million in sales.

Neither songs were flops. Top 10 hits are never flops. The album is the flop (because two top ten hits have failed to move it), not the songs. Also, you might want to cut down on letting people actually know how successful these singles have been as it just makes the albums sales look more pitiful. That's the break "my December" got. You guys were able to say she only had one single, hence the poor sales. This one, can't say the same thing, even with hits, she's still turning out duds in the album sales department. Perhaps her performance on SYTYCD will help, but that all depends how she shows up looking, if people haven't seen her in a while they are in for a WOW type of reaction to her new look.

Anyway, let me get otta here before I give these fans a heart attack for speaking the truth. Back to your world of roses.

Look at the sales of Katy Perry and Lady Gaga (since we want a accurate and fair account and all). they've had the biggest songs of the year and yet one has barely reached 1 million in sales while the other hasn't quite gotten there yet (unless Gaga is now at 1 million). Also look at Pink. She's barely over a million and she had Christmas sales to boost her plus she's had several hits already as well.

The market sucks ass for everyone, not just Kelly and pretending that it's JUST kelly who has shitty sales, well, that's just retarded.

Kelly's sales aren't what I expected given the quality of this album and the promotion she's gotten that's for sure. But she's got another round of promo coming up and another single so all is not totally lost. It's unlikely, but sales could in fact turn around.

I am curious though why people are surprised that IDNHU is losing spins. Isn't that what happens when a song has peaked? she reached the top 10 on Pop and the top 20 on Hot 100. that's hardly a flop in any measure I'm aware of.

What's funny is that with NA people considered it a flop because it didn't reach the top 10 on pop even though it reached it on the Hot 100 and now those same people consider IDNHU a flop because it reached the top 10 on pop but not on the hot 100

Overall, I don't think Kelly makes too many memorable videos. I like "Behind These Hazel Eyes," "Because of You" and "Never Again" the most. Those seemed to have concepts that were executed pretty well. My favorite is "Because of You"--the scenes with all of the mirrors are gorgeously shot. I think "Since U Been Gone" is a lot of fun and the performance scenes are better than in any of the other videos she has made (her energy is at an all-time high and the band as well as the extras seemed so into it). I think "Don't Waste Your Time" had potential to be a great video, but the green screens ruined it for me. At least she looked good.

Interestingly enough, I believe BOY, BTHE and NA are the ones that Kelly came up with the video treatments for. That says a lot IMO about Kelly as an artist because she can put the visuals to her music and make it spectacular.
