No I don't get manicures. When I was younger I had a terrible habit of biting them so now I probably let them grow out a bit. You haters can all kiss my ass. Vegaz it really wasn't that much food. Those portions are so small...it only added up to a decent sized lunch by the time I was done.

In reality the top restaurants are all too busy to bother with the Taste of Chicago. Ok so I have a few more pics... Stuffed spinach pizza...mmmm mmmm good. Breaded steak sandwich from Ricobene's...I always try to stop at this place before Sox games. Potato pancake with sour cream... Rib tips from Robinson's ribs... And then I had to get another one of these. We took a ride on the ferris wheel too just for shits and giggles. That's all the pics I have because my phone battery died after that...I shoulda charged it before going down there today. There were most definitely more people there today, I'd say perhaps as many as 4 times what there were yesterday. Maybe around 400,000 or so? So yeah it was crowded but still not too bad. I had a full sheet of 12 tickets left when we were done, so on the way back to the train I gave 4 tickets each to 3 homeless guys along the way. I'm not planning on going back down there again this week so that's it for my Taste experience this year.

Posts: 549 (06/27/09 8:06 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	The pictures dont do it justice - I always loved the BBQ Turkey leg (as big as it sounds) and Ricobene's is excellent I find that for the most part I avoid the been-there done-that places and try the new stuff - a little pricey but cool. And free concerts every night - tonight was Counting Crows. Music not as good as Summerfest in Milwaukee but have seen some great stuff over the years for nada.
