I do think there are a lot of them who didn't waver in their support, because I remember during the trial how many people were still commenting on how amazing and what an innocent soul he was. It got to be like, isn't there anyone willing to admit this guy is a sick freak? But yeah, even those that spoke up for him then, I don't think were really in contact with him. It's like they wouldn't believe he's a pedo, but even they were too creeped out to actually spend time with him.
