Omg how Sandy annoyed me.
But I definitely appreciate a great character when I see one, and Sandy was amazing in that department. ^_^ I regret all the means things I said about her throughout the game and trying to pin me flipping on her. |

Chu luckeh I didn't vote for you at F5 like Sydney/Sandy did =P
And that was only 'cuz you and Sydney both in F4 with your past-votes = free pass to F3 for JT and I. >_> |

Ugh. At least Brendan deserved his past-votes because he was being targeted. I got all of mine for no reason

Being the prolonged target for three rounds running <333 Actually I never stopped being the target after F7.
Maybe they were all just jealous of Sydney's amazing good looks? =O Ok nah. That seriously can't be it. |

SurvivorFanGP wrote:Yeah definitely. That "free pass" was SUCH a big thing for me and Taj. It was like..." Wait we don't have to strategize. We just...gotta get there and freakin' get to the F3 together using it." I didn't like Sandy much, but like you JeffP3, I noticed how clearly Cassidy can see things in a game. He was so good as Corinne in Vertigo 3, but fuck, I got my revenge in this one I guess. |

We're down to six now. Anyone could win, right? Right? Maybe not. Let's see who gets sixth place now.
#6 Played by: Mikester 4th place in the game
Mikester said in this thread that he will boardicide forever if Sydney isn't in the top five. Well, I'm calling your bluff, buddy, even though this list was finalized before you made that comment.
Ah, just kidding. Let's get to it!
You all have heard several times about how Jalapao dominated the pre-merge challenges, and since Sydney was on Jalapao she was safe for a long time. Her excessive hearts and PAO LOVE! may have irked some, but she was playing one of the best social games on her tribe as she got into an alliance with JT and Joe as their third wheel, and bonded with Taj as well.
At the first merge Tribal Council, Sydney received a few votes from the ex-Timbira members. Though not a huge deal at the time, these votes would play a large role into strategy later on in the game.
Sydney was on the losing side of the Joe blindside, but worked hard along with Taj to get Brendan back over to their alliance. She was caught in a tie vote with Tyson at the final 8, but due to his numerous past votes, she was able to stick around and gain the majority back.
I think Sydney became the most impressive from final 7 on. I really saw her pick up her game and run with it while she stayed safely in the majority. Due to Brendan's betrayals, he was now the target of the minority, while Sydney stuck to her alliance with Taj called Girl Paower.
At the final five, Sydney started to really take the game into her own hands. First, she voted for Brendan at Tribal Council, ensuring that he had more past votes than her. Second, she caused a little rift that made Brendan question JT's intentions. Although it didn't go anywhere, it was really fun to watch her manipulate several players to work her own game.
Sydney made it to the final four, with Brendan now having more past votes than her. The only way anything bad could happen was if Brendan won immunity…..and that's exactly what happened. Taj was completely safe in the vote once again, while she and Brendan intentionally caused a tie between Sydney and JT. It came down to past votes, and JT had none, while Sydney had several, making her the 6th member of the jury. To this day, I'm still frustrated with myself for not making the final four tie-breaker a freaking challenge. I don't know why I overlooked this.
Sydney played a very good game, getting better and better as time went on. She was very social despite getting some past votes attached to her early on in the merge. I think if she made it to the final two, she would have had a strong case to argue, though I'm not sure if anyone in the final four besides Brendan could have beaten Taj at the Final Tribal Council.
Sadly, yet another game where Mikester gets so close to winning but cannot seem to make it to the very end. |

How is Taj beating all these people? Sandy and Sydney were both too low.

Bwahahaha. Mikester can boardic-ok I'll stop.
I think Sydney was a brilliant gamer but there's something about her personality that made people wanna vote her ass off. But I give her mad props for the F5 move, and almost pulling off another 2-1-1 (again. |

It's true >_> even pre-merge Sydney was the one that I wanted to vote off from Jalapao, since she was the one I had no read on in terms of alliances.
(Turns out JT/Joe had an alliance with her too, hmph XD <3) but never brought it up with anyone 'cuz no one would've probably wanted to.

Jeff P3 wrote:I can definitely see how Sydney was good entertainment from a host's point of view. But strategically, isn't it more impressive to manage to not get any past votes and always be in a good spot? That's why I say Taj or I deserved to win this game, because even though so many dynamics came into play, we both still managed to always be safe no matter what would've happened. Sydney's game was flawed because she somehow couldn't convince the Timbiras to not pile some past votes on her, which ended up being her demise. And Brendan's game was flawed because even though his flip-flops were genius, he relied too much on Taj/Syd/me to make it through F7-F5. And he didn't do a good job at making himself look like less of a threat for the F2, having to rely on winning immunity at all costs. I'm not trashing their games, I'm just saying that even though a "safe" game may be boring for a host's point of view, it still is impressive to pull off what Taj and I did. It's even harder, in my opinion, to keep your cool throughout an entire game and think of every little detail before making a move, be levelheaded, etc... And I do think Taj deserved to beat me, just because of that damn little move at F8. It's the only thing that differenciates our two games, and that's why the final vote was so close too. eta : just wanted to say that out of the blue, I know your list is about who you had the most fun watching. Still don't know how I was below Stephen, but all right.
