For me it has to be Requiem for a Dream. The music, the unraveling of all of their lives, the angles and of course the end and no real resolution. I was speechless when it was over.
Irreversible is another one I couldn't get out of my head for DAYS.

Figured this could (possibly) envoke some interesting discussion...

The Untold Story was pretty damn disturbing. the children in the movie seemed way too realistic to be acting.

Whoa, prescient. I was just having this discussion about five minutes ago. :|
Requiem for a Dream is definitely up there. Never has a movie hit me so low, I don't think. Schindler's List is also really disturbing, but in a cathartic way, because of how it ends. Oldboy was pretty messed up, as was Audition. Uh, I happened upon a horrible little film called Salo, or 120 Days in Sodom, and it was easily one of the most awful things I've ever seen. Basically four libertines retire to a countryside palace with eighteen teenagers and rape, torture, and execute them. The segment that disturbed me the most, maybe, was the bit titled "Circle of Shit". |

Requium was bad, I recently watched this movie on Showtime called Gardens of the Night and even though it was cheaply made and had Tom Arnold in it (as a child abductor/molester) it disturbed the fuck out of me. |

You know what movie freaked me the fuck out? Volcano. And its only because of Pierce Brosnan's "arm shadow" scene. I refuse to watch that movie
because of it.

I agree with the The bridge, that Gene guy freaked me out.
And watching them flop over the side was weird. |
