Maybe it will be like upstairs/downstairs with the downstairs losing team getting hemp hammocks, crummy rooms, no spa privileges, slop, have to do all the laundry, dishes, cleaning, various chores (wait on Big Sister Sheila hand and foot.) Meanwhile the upstairs team will have all the perks, lovely rooms, good food, spa, use of the pool, etc.
HOH could still nominate anyone, the voting doesn't have to be "survivor style" just because they are making the teams more official, rather than the "teams" that form anyway.
I think the have/have not comps will just replace food comps, be a food comp on steroids since you lose more than just food, and probably have nothing else to do with the regular HOH POV parts of the game.
I love POV comps almost as much as HOH comps. It's the one part of the show that only needs one real change, live feed coverage.

I think some how there is going to end up being more then 12 contestants.
It's true that BB isn't a team sport but you have to be on the right side of the numbers at one point in the game. If former contestants come back, I hope it isn't Howie/Sheila. Howie/Sheila both sucked at the comps. If any of the new contestants have seen past season they would know this. That means Howie/Sheila could get dragged to the end. Plus Howie/Sheila could end up being final 2 goats (people might assume they would automatically lose a vote based on being a former contestant). If Sheila can't stand Adam then imagine how she is going to view Howie. |

Well, if it's 4 teams of 4...and they have announced that 12 new people will be coming in, then the other team could be 4 former players.
That would screw with my Rich/Poor/Middle thing though, unless one group gets to be the uber rich at the former "food comp." Alison did say she was going to make it reflect today's world. Oh shudder. Or this: 1. Poor (as above, does all the work, hovel rooms, all slop, etc.) 2. Middle (part time on slop, own chores, slightly nicer room/bed, a few perks) 3. Rich ( catered meals, no chores, all perks, great rooms) and 4. The Government The decision making body? Ick, that would mean something like a shared HOH reign or something. That could either be based on comps, or be a permanent thing, non-competing former HGs. Or competing. |
