I think that what people do in the bedroom is their own business. But when a person asks another person with a mistress problem to resign . . . . That's
what makes these Republican cheater scandals so delicious.

The deflection going on in this thread by the righties is lulz.
"Hey, HEY - look at my list - more Democrats have fucked around!!! LOOK AT ME!!!" This pompous dirtbag fucking pulled a FLIER and bailed to get some Argentine poonanny - I would be pointing and laughing no matter what letter came after his name. The schadenfreude is delicious when it is someone who hangs their political life on their "family values". Which, unfortunately for conservatives, is 99 out of 100 times a Republican. I mean, look at the cover of this asshole's book -

i love the way in the presser he calls the relationship with maria a "sparking thing". and again, i really don't care who is doing what to who
as long as it does not interfere with their jobs. what i do hate, is a hypocrite:
While serving as a U.S. congressman, Sanford was incredibly critical of his colleagues' marital misdeeds, including the affairs of former congressman Bob Livingston and President Bill Clinton:
Sanford has also been an opponent of same-sex marriage, saying in 2004, "As Jenny and I are the parents of four little boys, we've always taught our kids that marriage was something between a man and a woman." [The Post and Courier, 2/11/04]

Wow, PM, defensive much? I didn't mention any names, but your posts barely register with me, so I have no idea what you have said on the subject.
But I will excuse your rudeness, as I know the state of the economy has made you lose your mind, much like Gov. Sanford. |

More things that make you go "hmmm."
Ensign and Sanford (when he was in Washington) both belonged to a Christian values group called "The Family."* Read more here. Just who is "The Family" trying to clear the decks for in 2012? |

stop defending this asswipe, are you so blinded by obamarage that you can no longer see? lol
from the Augusta Chronicle, which listed travel expenses for state officials and agencies. Gov. Mark Sanford ranks in the top 50 [travel spenders] based on the total amount he spent on trips paid by his office and those paid by the state Commerce Department. Mr. Sanford has traveled to China, Argentina and Brazil through the Commerce Department, which has travel reports showing taxpayers covering $21,488 for those trips. Mr. Sanford also spent $1,976 in travel through his office. |

John Ensign isn't a member of "The Family", which is a child fucking cult. His church is a little weird in its own right, it's the
International Church of the Foursquare Gospel.

They're a religious cult comprised of U.S. Senators, Congressmen, etc. of which Ensign and Sanford are/were members: Ivanwald, which sits at the end of Twenty-fourth Street North in Arlington, Virginia, is known only to its residents and to the members and friends of the organization that sponsors it, a group of believers who refer to themselves as "the Family." The Family is, in its own words, an "invisible" association, though its membership has always consisted mostly of public men. Senators Don Nickles (R., Okla.), Charles Grassley (R., Iowa), Pete Domenici (R., N.Mex.), John Ensign (R., Nev.), James Inhofe (R., Okla.), Bill Nelson (D., Fla.), and Conrad Burns (R., Mont.) are referred to as "members," as are Representatives Jim DeMint (R., S.C.), Frank Wolf (R., Va.), Joseph Pitts (R., Pa.), Zach Wamp (R., Tenn.), and Bart Stupak (D., Mich.). Regular prayer groups have met in the Pentagon and at the Department of Defense, and the Family has traditionally fostered strong ties with businessmen in the oil and aerospace industries. The Family maintains a closely guarded database of its associates, but it issues no cards, collects no official dues. Members are asked not to speak about the group or its activities.Read the whole thing - it's scaring the shit outta me. |
