We were allies for half the game and maintained the respect we had for each other after it was exposed we were on opposing sides. I suppose my list is more who I most enjoyed working with rather than just about what worked. I defo included a couple other alliances that ended up turning on me but enjoyed all the same ^_^ Cable <3

Haha, FWIW, Mitsuko wanted to kick me out and include you instead. And I definitely mentioned your name to Satomi when we were talking about who to include. Just that when she went around, she only went to Yuko and Mitsuko, lol.

And awww, sorry... but hey, proved I guess that my social game still sufficed somewhat in that you wanted to keep me despite me being less than active post merge (ugh) =D

HIGH SCHOOL CLIQUE (Nicole, Reximus, Tony, Katherine) - Survivor Paraguay (played by jensamember36, Madhackrviper, NickF227, and me)

OMG, this alliance got so screwed, so fucking screwed, by a swap at Final 13. Let me backtrack here, Paraguay was a pretty typical survivor game; we started with 16 players and two tribes of 8, Noku and Bakota. From the get go, I aligned with Reximus and we formed a tight alliance on the Noku tribe. On our tribe, we also had a n00b in Carly that decided to try and form an alliance of all girls in a tribe that consisted of 4 guys and 4 girls. Eek. And what made matters even worse was that she sent out PMs about it before she had even met us. As you may be able to guess, it didn't go over so well. IIRC Nicole wasn't for the idea at all and sold her out by telling some of the guys. Pretty soon, even the other tribe knew about it =O

But it ended up not being a big deal at our first TC because we booted somebody who had trouble making it to challenges. With that easy boot out of the way, strategy kicked into gear. Our tribe was already pretty fractured and there were alliances all over the place. Reximus and I had an alliance with Stephen but we felt the dude was way overplaying. Stephen decided to go and make another alliance consisting of him/Rex/Carly/Paul to take out one of Nicole/Tony, who were viewed as a pair. Carly hated Tony because stray votes (cast by me and Nicole) caused people to run around throwing accusations at each other (it was pretty damn funny from my POV). Ultimately, Rex and I decided that Stephen had too many deals and needed to go, so we sided with Nicole and Tony to vote him out. From there, the HSC was born <3 Too bad, we made the wrong choice that TC because voting out Stephen alienated Carly/Paul. At the swap, they sold us out and none of HSC made the jury. How sad. Yeah, sure, it was an epic phail, but if not for the swap, the 4 of us were in damn good positions and had good relationships with the other tribe's members (cross tribal PMs were allowed). Sigh, we were robbed. What's funnier is that this alliance was born purely out of necessity, I didn't trust Nicole at first and I thought Tony was boring. ROFL but they certainly grew on me.

I think that if Rex and I weren't forced to show our hand by attending that two TCs preswap, things would've been a lot different. We would've had everybody trusting us and we COULD have run the show. Too bad. The alliance name came from Nicole, in this rather humorous PM:

Nicole cracked me up all game. This alliance was actually a shitload of fun and hey, at least we got to bitch about everything while sitting in LL together <3

HTLUs/Cyclops/Psylocke (Beast, Jubilee, Rogue, Cyclops, Psylocke) - Omnisurvivor: Genosha (played by notremojo, Yope, Funkey01, Mister Plum, me)

Oh god, where to begin? So this game was Madhack's first go at hosting and between him and his cohosts, it went quite well imo. Some twists were pretty whacky though and that included an interesting way to conduct a tribal swap at the Final 16 (the game started with 20, with a tribal pick 'em to start and 4 tribes of 5). We were told to rank everybody in the game from the person they liked the most to the person they liked the least. That can never be good, right? Well the hosts then averaged out where each person was ranked and split us all into two tribes, the "Loved" tribe and the "Hated" tribe. Whoa, right? =O We were allowed to name our own tribes and lmao, my tribe named ourselves The Loved Tribe while the other tribe chose to be called the Hate to Love Us Tribe. The Loved Tribe proceeded to kick some serious ass in the challenge department and we merged at F12 without attending a single premerge TC <3

We had somebody pull out right after the merge for personal reasons and a former HTLU tribe member (Wolverine) was booted nearly unanimously. Things went downhill from there though. The Angel Dust alliance of me, Polaris, and Cable wanted to flip to the remaining HTLUs (Beast, Jubilee, and Rogue) and vote off somebody from the Loved Tribe. Polaris ended up leaving instead due to a twist that round and I (stupidly) still thought Cable was loyal because the twist kept him from having to show his hand and choose a side. So what did I do? I continued gunning for a former Loved Tribe member with the HTLUs, thinking that with Cable as well, we had the numbers still to pull a move. Surprise, surprise, Cable turned on us and Beast left instead. And pretty much every round herein, I'd watch ally after ally leave because we weren't able to infiltrate the other side's alliance. Fucking NC =P

So where does Cyclops factor into all of this? Well he was the one that spilled to me that Cable had flipped, right before I had to leave for an evening class. So basically, we were powerless to prevent Beast's untimely departure. And from there until Cyclops was booted at F7, we'd talk every night till late in the evening plotting on how to overturn the majority alliance. It was frustrating as hell and NC lied to us over and over again, giving us some wonderful false hope. But hey, Cyclops was an awesome ally, without a doubt <3 Honestly, so were Beast, Jubilee, and Rogue. (Rogue seething LOVE)

I suppose for all intents and purposes, this wasn't truly an alliance but we all worked together with the common goal of taking down members of the former Loved Tribe....... and we went down in flames together. Sure, it was frustrating, but I think I'm a sucker for punishment and I like it more when games are a challenge. Oh and it helps that they all wanted me to get to the end and win ^_^

HONORABLE MENTION

ALLIANCE FOR MORE DIVERSITY (Susie, Dan, Danielle, Cassandra, Sugar) - Vertigo 4 (played by me, Madhackrviper, CLD, UD, NickF227)

How long did this alliance last? I think from the beginning of the game up till the round Sugar was booted, which ended up being 4 rounds. God, this game was full of double dealing and every single player had alliances all over the place, it was quite the clusterfuck to work around. All I recall about how this alliance was formed was Danielle coming up to me and saying she wanted to align with me... and from there we brought up some names and just like that, we had an alliance. Sugar came up with our alliance name, and it's pretty obvious how it came to be, lol. When the going got tough, a bunch of us threw Sugar under the bus and made her our scapegoat. She was rubbing some people the wrong way IIRC, and we ended up letting her get booted. Oops, sorry girl! Danielle followed soon after because she was viewed as having been close with Sugar (or was it Alibot?). This alliance really didn't fare well at all. ROFL, Danielle barely spoke to the rest of us for some reason (something about wanting to focus her social game on others because we were already aligned? CLD, I'm not sure, maybe you should explain that lol) and this was pretty much doomed from the start after the first couple easy boots were out of the way. Three of us moved forward though and formed a different, much stronger alliance. What was it? Maybe it'll show up later =D But yeah, I liked everybody in the alliance but it just didn't end up being cohesive enough to make it far.
