Posts: 1902 (06/12/09 5:19 PM) I need a hobby Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I think still can't believe some people think Cook Islands is boring, Guatemala is underrated, Panama: Exile Island is good and China is overrated. I know the rankings of S1 to S8 because Survivor Fever made an official rankings via Survivor Sucks' members few years ago and I was one of those who ranked. Anyway, can anyone rank Survivor: Vanuatu to Survivor: China from the best to the worst? I'm not adding Micronesia because its the best season ever and Gabon/Tocantins are post FvF. --------------- I'll start first. Seasons 1-8 Great - Amazon, Pearl Islands Good - Borneo, Australian Outback OK - All-Stars, Africa, Marquesas Bad - Thailand 2. Seasons 9-14 Great - None Good - Cook Islands, Panama OK - Palau, Vanuatu, Guatemala Bad - Fiji 3. Seasons 15-18 Great - Tocantins, Micronesia Good - China OK - Gabon Bad - None

I can even understand them disagreeing with me on a season like Cook Islands, which I like, but wasn't really popular. However, Micronesia is considered by many people as one of the best seasons ever, and Thailand as one of the worst, so I don't see how they can question my view. I guess I have to rely on my own taste! I feel S1-S2 are in a world of their own as parents of the whole series. Then S3, S4, and S5 were the experimental seasons where we saw a good amount of the game and the people...I consider these seasons their own group. They showed the game can be different each season all while being the same. S6, S7, and S8 focused on the people over the game...even though there were huge twists it all took the back burner to the Ruperts and Heidi/Jenna's and All-Stars and made us see there were "Characters" S9, S10, S11 were the seasons of rebirth (1) in that it was a clean slate after ASS so they experimented more and more with different variations of amount of castaways and more 'unfair' (some say) and 'risky' twists S12, S13,S14, S15 was a faze of "lets see how far we can push it....lets do everything the fans want" Black Vs White...Old Vs Young...Men Vs. Women....Rich Vs. Poor....Brains Vs. Brawn....and all at the end to tie it up a nice refreshing "Back to Basics" season that still allowed for a post-ass twing. S16, S17, and S18 have been a nice resurgance of focus on the players and the game....like S3,S4,S5...no to much variation in how the game is played these seasons and a definite focus on peoples lives back home (Sugar, Randy, Taj, Coach, Branden, Eric, Cerie...) and on the game (some of the best game play occurred in these seasons)

Older vs. younger is just like men vs. women, just a different way to divide tribes. But coincidentally, I did hate Exile Island too.
