The highlight of the day was Jedi Janie wiping the floor with the other 5 veto players. Based on the feeds, it wasn't even close. This was an intensely physical competition with Ali banged on the head really hard and Janie has an injury on her ankle that she iced down late in the evening. We had feed blackouts for over an hour. Ali complained about how the veto was played and it will be interesting to see if they show that on Tuesday, the next TV show scheduled. Rumor has it that she challenged the producers to watch the tapes.

Ok, what happened today. Nak got up first, a tad after 6 am BB time. People slowly drifted up over the next 3 hours and then BB woke them up. They were locked down for the veto competition and just sat around and talked a general chit chat.

Veto is done differently this year to avoid the predictable back door plans that became overused. Now the 2 veto players besides the co HOHs and the 2 nominees are randomly chosen by spinning a wheel. Kaysar and Chicken George won the first veto play spins. Kaysar came in 2nd in the competition. They are now worried about being bigger targets, but they are such big targets now, I don't think it matters.

Diane is campaigning hard to get Janie out first among the sixers. She had a long conversation with Booger today. She also told Ali who Ali had to go see to get votes to stay in the house. Since the veto will NOT be used by Janie, we have some campaigning to watch over the next few days. Ali had a long pity party in her bedroom this afternoon, but got back in game mode later.

The banter between the hamsters is hilarious this year, particularly WIll and Howie. They are just non stop in the insults and wisecracks. Kaysar is floating between the groups, paying particular attention to the ladies. Other than spending time "playing chess" with Janie during the group dinner tonite, he has visibly not been near the other sixers all day. Many feed watchers were wondering if he was distant from them for real. But the very hard to hear strategy conversation between Kaysar and Janie tonite during dinner (they were upstairs directly over the dining table on the balconey there) reaffirmed they are tighter than ever. They spent some time trying to figure out the average age in the house and came up woefully short. Remember, they have no pencil or paper so they had to do some "cyphering" in their heads. They forgot to add Marcy's age, so they came up with 27, and it is supposedly closer to 30 based on some recrappers who bothered to do the math (I didn't).

George cooked dinner and floated all day. Erika posed for the cameras all day and said maybe 2 words total. Dani was around, but not around. Her strategy today appears to be "blend in". Diane is remaining VERY aloof from the sixers. Ali and Diane spent most of the day when they were together trashing Janelle. Began to get nerd herd flashbacks <shudders>.

Nak and Janie "played chess" this afternoon and really communicated. They are careful around each other. Janie wants Nak to like her and Nak wanted Janie to know Ali was throwing Nak's name around in the eviction scheming when she never said whatever Ali said she said. Got that? Nak is annoyed with her taking liberties like that, so she is leaning toward voting out Ali.

Janelle told Kaysar she had the votes to remove Ali this week. She believes she has secured James, Kaysar, Howie, Erika, Marcy and Nakomis. She only needs 6. So the other 4, Diane, Booger, Will and George can vote whatever way they want. Booger told Diane tonite in a long strategy talk in the hammock that he thinks ALi is more dangerous right now and appears inclined to vote her out.

So after one day of feeds, what do we know? We have our expected obscure floaters: Erika and George and everyone has commented on them floating through the game. Will and Boogie are a 2 man floater squad. The sixers are the targets of the other 10 in the house. Marcy is trying to float, and might be overlooked for a long while, surprisingly.

Jase appears to be in the best position right now. He has NOT verbally committed to anyone other than Diane and Nak last night, yet the sixers, Marcy and Erika were openly talking strategy in the HOH room today right in front of Jase. There were no secrets withheld. Jase pretended to sleep, but he is playing a brilliant game. Who KNEW????!!!!

Janie is like the queen bee and has her little drone bees doing her bidding. Kaysar is out working part of the house, James in another part, and Howie created diversionary chaos everywhere. This has been fascinating to watch. James is the sixer that booger and will want to turn first, but surprisingly Will was feeling Howie out for a possible 3 way alliance with him and booger for a brief minute when they were alone today. However, Howie, with his over the top ADHD just did not focus on the issue at hand at the time. Will told howie he needed to smoke dope to chill the fuck down Howie told Will it "is not the Jedi way" which frankly was a good anti drug message for the youth watching the feeds. But then again, parents, your youths should NOT be watching these feeds

The men in the house are bonding in their own way. They even had very graphic gay and straight sex talk that was very funny today.

Other funny moments on the feeds are when they rehash various seasons of BB and cast members. They were just too funny today. Howie spent time telling us how he blew up his fingers in a home made bomb. It was laugh out loud funny for several minutes.

The general consensus among feed watchers is that the feeds are GOLD this year. Best reality ever.

There may be a food competition coming up this weekend, and POV ceremony is probably Monday. So we can expect some hard core campaigning over the next few days. Will even told Janie she should be cutting deals with Ali or Dani and Janie looked at him like he grew several heads. This game did deals in season 2 but not in later seasons. Will has missed this morph and it could cause some miscalculations on his part.

What will make this season very intriguing and hilarious is that under the surface, these people have some serious grudges. It will affect their game. Diane loathes Janie for the things Janie said about Diane's play in season 5. Janie called her on the phone sometime last year, but apparently delivered a half assed apology so Diane is still pissed. Marcy is STILL mad at Danielle. Erika is still mad at Ali. Etc. Etc.

There might be more game talk tonite, if so, I will amend this recrap.

ETA: Regarding the WIll encounter with Janie in the storage room yesterday after the Veto competition:

Janie was laughing about that encounter with Will when she and James were strategizing in the exercise room late last night. She was actually insulted that he thought she was that stupid. She said she played the dumb blonde to the hilt at that time, which she did, I saw it on the feeds. It took the perspective of one of our posters here at sucks to point out that the game has morphed in several seasons for me to "get" how really out of touch Will is in this game. I don't think he will do as well as he and booger think they will. It depends if the sixers can protect themselves next week.

I see those 2 leading the force against the sixers, and Diane gleefully jumping on board for her own reasons. George will glob on to them for lack of alternatives of any kind. Danielle will float because that is her nature and she likes everyone. Nak will stay close to Diane, but I don't think she will want to be the outside wheel to a booger/will alliance. Marcy likes the cool factor so he won't embrace the will/booger alliance.

So unless will/booger win HOH next week, or Diane. I don't see them gaining much ground in the game. I am not sure who Danielle will put up.

I still think Jase will win this thing. He will be overlooked as these other players take each other out and he can dominate the competitions when it matters.

Sucks does the live feed reports differently than the other sites. We do have more editorial comments inserted and more summary recraps. Other sites do the verbatim work so people can go there if they only want the raw feed word for word. Because sucks adds color, I think our site is on top of the nuances earlier and more insightful than other sites.
