It was an accident on his part that he even made it to the fire-making challenge after he deliberately tried not to convince anyone to keep him at F4, it was an accident on his part that he won even though he told the jury that he didn't outwit or outplay them. x a billion In my opinion, the best player is the person who played the best social/strategic game, was in the majority alliance/in control for the most part, made moves to get what they wanted, etc. THAT person is not always the winner.

What I mean is that a person can ride coat-tails, piss people off and still win, so why would the best player be classified as the person who was the most strategic, had the best social game, was in control of the game and made moves to get them selves what they wanted. Also, as far as "made moves to get what they wanted", dont you think what the people that didnt win wanted was to win? so obviosuly the moves they made to get what they wanted werent good moves otherwise they would have won. Also, why be so illogical about the subject? I mean why not just say "ya my fav didnt win or the person I felt was playing the best game didnt win, so obviously they werent the best player." Teresa-Kind of a strange choice, but she was a really good player. She got dealt such crappy hands over and over again, and it was kind of amazing to see her not get eliminated right away. Kim Johnson completely screwed Teresa as well as herself. 5. Peih Gee.

What do you mean "exactly"? thats not what youve been saying lol. youve been saying that the best player is the person that does A, B and C. Whats good in one enviroment is bad in another means that what may work in one season etc may not work in another or whats good gameplay in one season may not be good gameplay in another.

Amanda - made it to the end two seasons in a row, with little time to recouperate between the filming of the first and second season. 2. Cirie - final four twice, and had she made it to the end eachtime she probably would have won both times. 3. Twila- If all jury members voted soley on game play she would have won. 4. matty - the fire building challenge was the only thing that kept him from winning in a landslide. if it was him, sugar and susie, he would have had marcus, charlie, corrine, randy, kenny and crystals votes. not sure how bob would have voted. 5.kathy - the only thing that stood in her way of winning was one immunity challenge. OMG you have 4 of my favorite survivors ever and my LEAST favorite survivor ever on this list! Switch Matty (who had NO strategic game) with Colby (who had all 3 of strategic, physical, and social game) and this list would match mine, though not necessarily in order. Cirie Fields ^ in a class of their own IMO 4. Colby Donaldson 5. Kelly Wiglesworth ^ both finalists played very solid soical games, and won a great number of challenges. they both got second in the only two really pure seasons of the game, where most everyone was still formulating the "correct" way to play the game. kelly and colby both spoke very eloquently in their FTCs. I do not believe either was robbed, however, and agree with jury selections that the winner was the better player. but both of these two were solid and earned their spot and made it tough to choose the winner for the jury.

The argument is that "The winner played the best game"..NOT that they are "the best player". If two people play a game of chess, one is a chess master and the other is a total new, I think it's safe to say the chessmaster is a better player but if the newbie wins then he played a better game (whether it was totally lucky or not). The same goes for Survivor..I think most people can agree that Cirie is a much better strategic/social player than Aras. That being said Aras played the better game in Panama by actually winning the game. Cirie did something wrong that lost her the game...but again...this does not make Aras a better player (which will always be opinion and nothing more really).
