Actually Gina, it was the pile on the first night of the show. It was very mean spirited, and sucked the fun right out of the participation. And frankly, I am
suprised at the sniping from you. I thought we were sucks friends. Guess I was a tard for thinking that. So it wasn't a vocal small minority, and who needs
it? Not me. And it was a labor of love of the show from a die hard fan. I enjoyed sharing my insights and opinions and having them challenged at this forum.
This forum is pretty spot on about the show. I think Sucks has the best reality fan posters in the blogosphere. However, when participating to the level of
time dedication it takes to post daily recaps is no longer fun and not perceived to be appreciated, who needs it? Not me. This weekend is the first time i have
been able to watch the feeds extensively since the show started. It has turned out to be quite entertaining with all of the drama. So I pipe up in the
discussion thread every once in a while, add my 2 cents, same as everyone else.
And to the extent that sucks posters poke fun at each other and we laugh at ourselves, more to the fun. But who needs all the shit that was displayed here? Again, not me. |

I'm really surprised at you, QSF -- I'd like to take your side, because you did me many a favor over the seasons by summing up some complicated back
story, but this does come off as nothing but whining, and I think Buried has you pegged. You're also a bit mistaken -- there were PLENTY of people who
posted that they enjoyed your recaps, and only a few who got snippy with you, and their comments were along the lines of "get over yourself" -- which
you should. We like what you did, many of us have said so, and many have said that it's the nature of the beast. It would be the easiest of easies to move
past this, if you really wanted to. I've gotten into ridiculously huge fights with SA, Cindi, etc, and the moment I backed down and stopped being a douche
it was all over. It's that easy.

As I enter my new phase of helper and do gooder... I get how she feels. I like to write long blog like stream of consciousness rants. Its cheaper than therapy.
Don't read them if you don't like/understand/care. I never did like/understand or care about you either. But it becomes less fun when you do something
to make YOURSELF laugh.. I am my own best customer btw.. and you get hammered by angry gays and some really stupid gay teens and women who wish they were gay
but are just fat and would be happier if they were gay and fat simultaneously. Who doesn't know a fat happy gay..its redandant but I digress.
This is Sucks where flaming people is de riguer but it becomes as boring as these shows have of late (at least for me). I am working 13 hours a day some days and I like my pink wine and bourbon and my other liquor and me and the boys like to chill and laugh. I don't have a real life friend who isn't badly touched by this economy. And its getting worse. I get exhausted just making it through the day and well laughter is a great medicine but this place can take the form of strychnine. What fun is that... unless its mixed in a cocktail for Ronnie then its a blast! I rarely read or watch live feeds unless its close to boots... I can watch SAD if I want to push myself to suicide. But I think its fine to put those cliff notes up.. for the LOVE OF GOD don't open the thread or read it... its why I rarely go to OT I look to see if the thread is about something or posted by someone I like (that list is SMALL) and then I don't read or open it if I see a poster who has issues and in OT that may be 99.9% of them who has posted in it after me. You do your best to avoid getting into it.. I have had two bad stalkers and have one obsessed crackpot now.. and you have to be nuts and/or Ronnie to not let it get upsetting. And then the endless PMs inviting you to shit stir. Come on I am a working woman as if QSF and you need other things than shit to take to your important meetings.. and that is a pun/joke and actually true I have one REALLY to go to now. I get what you're saying, I think Glams. (Sometimes you post like Slip and I don't think I quite get it) But QSF has been posting here long enough to
know that this isn't a Hello Kitty board and the more you put yourself out there, the more likely it is that someone is gonna call you on your shit.
We weren't giving her a hard time about her recaps for the most part. I think what most of us were doing was letting her know, in the way that Sucksters do, that she was beginning to post like she was some sort of iconic figure. She's not really. Her posts are no more or no less important than anyone else's. If she wants to spend hours on them, that's on her. But if she does write them and then actually cares if people like them or not, then she should admit that she's doing it for the glory and the love and the "status" that she feels she gets from doing it. Don't use the excuse that she does it because she loves doing it and then get all pouty when other people don't give a shit about them. I'd venture to say that more people here hate me than love me or even like me. I don't care. I post because I want to. When I don't want to, I don't post. |
