Today was an unusually quiet day in the Big Brother House. Saturdays are Power of Veto Competition days and usually the house is in a strategy uproar since the veto has been used every week except the first week. However, today, the houseguests have been relaxing, cleaning, socializing and just plain chilling.
Let's discuss why. If anyone viewed tonite's TV episode, let's pick up on what happened during the show that was not on the air and not shown on the live feeds. What happened here was very pivotal to what is happening in the house this weekend. Immediately after the door bit Scott in the ass, Jase was backpedaling with Marvin, claiming that Karen voted to keep scott and how he, jase, was the pivotal vote to keep Marvin. As Marvin said in his diary room confessional, "don't pee on my leg and tell me it is raining". He was not buying what Jase was shoveling.
Then Jase proceeded to call Adria out in front of everyone and calling her a betrayer and liar. Diane immediately said, "Hey everyone, who all has Jase promised to go all the way with, show your hands please!". Then Adria spoke up and said, "Hey, I was only 1 of 4 votes here". Jase proceeded to call her the betrayer and Marvin spoke up and took him on. Marvin told Jase that it was not acceptable to pick on Adria and to bully the other women in the house about their votes. He embarrassed Jase in front of the group. Then they had to sit down because they came back from commercial. Immediately, Natalie came into the house and Jase forever had his power surrendered to the pussies.
If not for that fight, where he bullied the whole house and pissed off Marvin (to quote marvin, "I had to turn around and pull a 12 inch blade from my back"), we would not have the ultimate setup in process now.
What is the setup? The pussies put up Marvin and Diane (both volunteered) and the plan is to veto Diane off the block at the last minute and put up Jase. At that point he will realize he is a dead man walking. The house is so happy that this plan is in effect, everyone has been much freer, happier, and sleeping better because their 5 week oppression is coming to a close. In fact, Nik boldly put Jase's key in the box first and had a very convincing speech during the nominations yesterday. They aired that on tv today.
Late last night, as i added to my recap for yesterday, they decided to have Drew win the POV to give Jase 2 more days of a thorough mind fuck. Drew won the POV today. Apparently there was balloon popping contest with the darts. And Diane was teasing Drew about saving him from the penalty box by popping a balloon with the multiple colors. Then Drew came back and won the POV.
After the competition, the house took a nap, except for the sick twins. While Jase was getting ready to sleep in his bed, just across the wall from Will and Nik's bed, where Diane and Drew were settling into a nap. Drew pretended to be talking privately to Diane, but just loud enough to Jase hear through the walls, "I think you are safe, will you be mad if I don't use the veto on you this week? Marvin has the votes, so you are safe, ok?" It was quite convincing because I just came into that conversation right there and I missed the fact that Drew lifted his head, noticed Jase was just across the wall, and winked to Diane before he said that. For a moment, I thought Drew was under the spell of the anti christ again because he had earlier whispered to Jase that he wasn't going to use it. Thank goodness fellow recappers caught the wink, so I can rest easy tonite.
So the trap for the major mind fuck continues. Meanwhile, everyone crashed in the house except for the twins. THey wanted to get rid of the germs in the house so they cleaned with a vengeance. The house looked great. They finished by soaking some towels in the backyard and relaxed in the patio area near the dryer. As people woke up, they came out and updated each other on the plot. Marvin reiterated his conversations with jase that he is the target this week.
There wasn't a main meal tonite that I could tell. With half of the house on PB&J, it was everyone fending for themselves.
Tonite we have a conversation with Karen and Nik bonding soul to soul with some very private moments about some psychological challenges in their respective lives. Simultaneously, the twins were in the bedroom complaining about how everyone wants to have a discussion about how they figured out which sister they were with when various conversations happened. In my opinion, they did not show enough patience for the other house guests to process the major twist. Later Will joined them as did Cowboy and I make it a practice to avoid feeds with Cowboy because he is just so uninteresting to hear.
While Drew was helping the house by washing the bath towels earlier this evening, he had a 10 minute laborious discussion with Cowpussy where cowpussy kept reiterating how much they need jase for their alliance, why it was a blessing from the Lord that Drew has the veto, and how not using it protects them all. (Umm dumbass, the LORD helped Drew win it to get the antichrist out of the house!!). Actually, Cowpussy is just so pathetically stupid that he has not realized that the competition was thrown and his buddy Jase is being setup big time.
The rest of the evening is just socializing, poker playing, Marvin being funnier that ever, Diane having a major PMS attack during poker that led to a really funny male/female dialogue with Marvin explaining women hysteria to Drew and Cowboy. It was just so funny I was screaming with laughter and Diane had to run to the bathroom before she peed her pants. It was great.
The rest of the houseguests are laughing in the kitchen. It will probably be another late night since everyone slept so much this afternoon. If anything interesting happens, I will update this summary.
