Talk to your GYN about bio-identical Progesterone. If you are having heavy periods, hot flashes, night sweats, anxiety, etc. it could be because your natural
balance of estrogen vs progestrone is off. HRT with estrogen is the one where it can cause cancer - and this is a safe alternative.
I've been using the bio-identical Prog. for about 3 years and it solved all of my peri-meno symptoms. It is mixed up by a pharmacist in a cream form where you put 1/4 tsp on the inside of your arm, lower tummy, etc. Mine is covered by insurance. |

As a woman still in the ripeness of full bloom youth and vigor I know nothing about this but asking KP and Guppie they informed me of a cream that works which
you can buy at the health food store. And they also said women who did not have children or had the "visits" earlier in life than normal experience
this menopause sooner. Something I am glad to say while I fall into the former and not the latter it seems that I am not on schedule for this monumentous event
for quite some time... contrary to the vile rumors that continue to be spread about me. Along with the fat thing.. its bloat resulting from Gluten
Intolerance!!!

I gotta admit...mine didn't seem to last too long. I think I sweat more as a reaction to a certain medication than I did from menopausal night sweats. And
I've been bitchy from day 1, so.....

After 4 yrs of crazy periods and no period since Dec, I'm pretty sure I'm done...but can you get tested to find out for sure? I've never had hot flashes at all or use any hormone replacement therapy. I wonder if the fact that I take levothyroxine for my thyroid made my symptoms lighter |
