How's come your biggest draw didn't participate? Yes I'm talking about Coachbag - all I see is pictures of him hamming it up for the camera. Oh, and why didn't it make the national news if it is such a "quality event?" If I want to give money away I certainly am not going to give it to a bunch of cops. Make it firefighters alone and I'll think about it. That is from a person who lives in a state where the cops are as corrupt as the mafia, so no I don't trust cops. Get off your high horse. When you make it on TV with Jerry Louis you'll have something to brag about. Until then? You're just gathering a bunch of hasbeens in an attempt to promote your scuzzy little park.

By "WE", I mean that I am one of the organizers for the entire event. By quality event, I mean, a quality event that raises money for a children's charity and goes above and beyond for the folks who actually pay money to come. That goes for the Reality people, fans and the general public. I also didn't realize our "biggest draw" was coach? Did you see our list? Our biggest draw is and always will be "Survivor" and "The Amazing Race" and "American Idol" and "Pirate Master" and "Southern Bells" etc. etc. Cast members only represent those shows. The individuals with big personalities only add to the fun. We also have many who have been here multiple years. The Vanuatu cast, Bubba and Chris are huge supporters of the event and help us out tremendously. Pause before you downgrade an event that helps children. It only makes you look like a douche bag. Maybe you are, maybe you aren't. I don't care either way. There are plenty of forums here on Sucks that will satisfy that urge if you so like. This is one about an event you have no knowledge of nor ever will from what I am taking from your response. I won't even respond to your statement about Police. I will let everyone form their own opinion on that. I assume that you are one that likes to sit in front of the computer and throw darts at everything around you but have yet to actually accomplish something in your life. It helps to get up off the couch and like #%+@ has advertised, "Just Do It". The Police and Firefighters Benefit along with the Kentucky Challenge will continue to be a strong event here in Louisville and throughout the Reality Community. I invite anyone who wants to hang out and have a good time to come next year. The date will be up sometime in January but it is usually the last weekend in June. It IS I will let everyone form his or HER own opinion on that. You're on SUCKS. Not the "Miss Kitty Loves You" website. Get over yourself and go elsewhere to tout your 'charity' event. If you REALLY want to help KIDS? Gather the money and send it to the kids. Don't waste time, effort, energy and hotel bills on has-beens. The amount of overhead you have makes me want to puke. And, I notice you STILL haven't answered my original question: how's come Coachbag didn't participate? Why pay a hotel bill for someone who comes to your event and then stands around hamming it up for the cameras?

Coach WAS chosen to participate but he was late to the event so someone took his place. Satisfied? If you don't like this event, then don't attend. This took a lot of work and everyone was happy to attend and had FUN while raising money for KIDS. Everyone that donated HIS OR HER time and money did it because they wanted to. None of it came out of your pocket or life so shut the hell up. Great job, Photog.

You want to tout your event, go to a hearts and flowers website. In my experience charity events are for RICH people who want to feel better about their empty lives. Having "fun" is one way of doing that. You don't have to interact with the people for whom you are raising money. You want to make a difference with kids? Become a Big Brother or a Big Sister or become a court appointed special advocate. Put your TIME where your mouth is, not your money. I saw NO children in those pictures that looked like they needed any help whatsoever. They all had a mother and a father. Get over yourself.

Proceeds from this went towards the annual Kosair Children's Hospital Christmas shopping trip to provide gifts for the kids who have to spend their Christmas in the hospital. Those children do not need a Big Brother/Sister or Guardien Ad Litem. So what if this is Sucks. Just because this is Sucks doesn't mean that you are required to bitch about everything that is posted. If you don't like reading about it, skip this thread.

If you look back at this thread you will see it was started to make fun of the Kentuckiana event AND Coachbag's endless quest for attention. I don't think he was late by accident. The only reason you're so filled with the need to defend the waste of time and money that was Kentuckiana is because you ARE one of those bored rich people. Take some of that money, go back to school, become a social worker and get into the trenches. In short? Put up or shut the fuck up.

While most cities have an FOP for the officers union, they are usually called Fraternal Order of Police, but in Louisville the are know as Fuck Off Public.
