15. Franklin Bluth's Survivor: Arrested

Poor Bluthy. It's not that I didn't like this game...but when I think back to it, I was just completely indifferent to the whole thing. The board looked nice enough, it was a nineteenhearts phpbb board, which is always infinite superior to invisionfree in every way imaginable. The challenges were well thought out, most if not all relating to the theme directly in some way, and hell, the tree mail was always so adorable <3 Clearly there was no shortage of effort put in there. So what went wrong?

Well...mayhaps it had to do with the cast itself. Not that FB got a bunch of n00bs, I mean I recognized most, if not all of the players. But this game played out in the most boring way possible. Two tribes, no cross-tribal PMing. Pretty much evenly matched all the way through. The tribes merge 5-5, one tribe loses the past-vote tiebreaker...and gets pagonged. Yawn. (Sounds familiar doesn't it, my Zesty friends <333) I mean it was very old school Survivor and a part of me appreciated it, I suppose.

But the pre-merge portion bored me out of my mind. Our tribe, the Bananagrabbers (so sexually suggestive <3 and simply cooler than "Cornballers" ) was stagnant. There were basically five of us that showed up within an hour of the board opening up, and that was pretty much it. We were the alliance. It didn't help that we had a complete inactive, and one barely active. Poor Lindsay/Edin though, we never really gave him a chance, try as he did. We basically didn't have to do any real strategizing at all premerge. We had our first three boots mapped out well in advance.

Stupid past votes being the tiebreaker always fucking me over HATE though. I'll admit me and my tribe shared most of the blame when instead of trying to protect the only person from our tribe that came into the merge with past votes, we tried to sell him out. The other tribe simply outplayed us, which always seems to happen when I merge even for some reason. I was apparently supposed to go out ninth (like a certain go.ddess from a game that played out much the same way but holds much more sentimental value to me <3) but I actually won immunity at the right moment and saved myself for one whole round. ^_^

So yes, we got pagonged. And what's really laffos is we all seemed to be really bitter about it. =O Um, when you get pagonged, what is there to be bitter about? You pretty much should expect the other tribe to ignore you and treat you like shit because they don't "need you." And if ALL of them do it, who the hell can you focus your rage on? Oh and what really pissed us BGs off is that the only CB we liked, Lucille/alpo, was obviously the first to go of their bunch. =/ Worst.final.four.ever. Lol jk. (Ok not really.) We juror members basically made a pact to pretty much ignore the two unfortunate souls who were gonna get cannibalized by their own. So not only are they not wanted by their fellow tribemates, they're DEFO not wanted on the jury! Adding insult to injury ftw <333 Bitter juries are so lulz.

Er...so what was memorable about this game? Hmmm...Kate getting her first win, which was right after getting 2nd in Nepal, proving it was not a fluke. <3 The jury roasting George Sr alive at the FTC <33 Oh and I think only the Bananagrabbers had the prestigious honor of being on the same ORG tribe as the one and only GeneOkerlund27 (correct me if I'm wrong =P), yw <333 Other than that, it was like reliving a recurring ORG nightmare that never seemed to end (it has, jsyk). I was so sick of being early jury fodder. I'm sure the actual F4 has quite a different perspective on it all.
