*cries* Ok this is officially too hard. The next three games are about even, but having a three-way tie would be way too lame.












4. Edinboro's Survivor Malaysia

Get it? This game gets fourth cuz I got fourth. Ha! Serves you right Arascunt! Anyone have an issue with this ranking take it up with him. =O Jk. Anywho, this game was so epic...it wasn't even funny. Well at least for me anyway. The most special thing about this game...and what tends to be the most special thing about most games was the cast <3 So active (the majority), so into it, so many characters. Edin made the risky choice of recuirting a number of new players from Clubs who had never played (or played very little) before, and it worked wonders! They were all so appreciative of the experience, they made me feel like a little n00b once more. ^_^ The board was active long after the game concluded which is always a clear sign of a game being great.

Malaysia had a random cast of characters from pretty much every season (I'm gonna assume they were simply all of Edin's favos), and I had the [mis]fortune of being assigned Marcus as the last person to join the cast! Nobody wanted to play as Marcus? No wae. =p An attractive doctor who's avatar was shirtless the entire time? Weirdos. Anyway, the game begun without tribes, and was one of those 'PM everyone because of the obvious pick 'em coming' she-bangs. Aren't those sooooo tiring? I over extended myself into various deals beforehand, but who cares since we all got split up anyway.

I was on the more laid-back Jirafe tribe, dominated by various alpha males. The green font we had on the lurker bar was sexy as hell <3 In the beginning I was paranoid as hell since there was little to no strategy talk. Thought I was being left out and majorly screwed. Then I realized it was because none was going on. A dur. -_- I had made a strong connection with Aras before tribes and was lucky enough to land on the same tribe with him, since I wasn't present for the pick. We made it our business to be at the center of our tribe and run that shit like the dynamic duo we were. And thus, Arcus was born. <3 Oh and we formed a "Jirafe Boys Club" with Rob and Colby, one of the sexiest alliances I've ever been a part of, even if it didn't amount to much.

There isn't much to say about the pre-merge portion. The drama tended to be on the other, dysfunctional, Pajarro tribe they apparently all hated each other. There was a swap after only 3 boots. I was lucky enough to stay on Jirafe and Arcus still ran that shit as if nothing changed. We thought we were sitting pretty and got quite cocky. Except there was yet another early merge. Damn that twist is overused. How about a late merge one of these days bitches??? We merged 6-6 and the Jirafe boys totally thought they had it made for reasons that escapes me. Guess we thought with the other tribe being so chaotic and our tribe being so calm, cool and collected and drama-adverse, we'd definitely be the ones to come out on top right? ^_^

Wrong. Apparently our good friend Rob got a little too arrogant for his own good and Brianna (the only girl ex-Jirafe who made the merge, what a misogynist tribe we had) sold us out and the other tribe was actually united after all! Who knew? =/ We had the rug pulled out from beneath us and I was in screwedsville for the umpteenth time. The jury started at ten, and I remember begging those in power to boot Yul since he "didn't belong on the jury." *shudders* Not exactly my finest moment. Everyone knew Arcus was a force to be reckoned with, so it was only a matter of time before getting our torches snuffed. I remember one elimination IC where me and Aras pretty much ran the board and knocked everyone out. That was hawt. =O

Fortunately we weren't duds who lucked into power. We had plenty of connections that we had been cultivating the entire game, before tribes, after tribes, after the swap. Thank gawd for cross-tribal PMs. Yes exhausting, but your hard work will pay off in the end, yw. We pitched the right angle and got Kathy, Yau and Helen to join us at the F9 to overthrow Queen Penny and her boybitch Ken and uber villainous Brianna <3 Good times, good times. With their implosion, it was simply a matter of manuevering through the falling corpses and picking the best path to get to the end. We pulled off another epic blindside at F7. Then another at F6. =p

Except that's when it all fell apart. Apparently my partner in crime Aras was too afraid Magnificent Marky Mark (Marcunt </3) would pwn him in the finals so he set out to blindside me. After all we've been through too. Too bad I won immunity at F5 and so that dastardly plan was put off with me being none the wiser. At F4....came one of the most brillaint blindsides in all of my ORG history. I got voted off in a 2-1-1 vote. I was too impressed to be mad at the time <3 Especially since they had to do an endurance challenge right after. Ha. Oh that's right...Aras wanted to go to the F3 with the two goats of the game, Heidi and Helen! You'd think with the jury starting at F10 that'd mean an F3 ja? Except it wasn't. They weren't informed until the last minute it was actually an F2 with a collective LL vote. Aras couldn't win the endurance and got majorly played by Helen in the most humiliating way possible. How did that work out for ya buddy? ^_^ Jk, I still <3 you. But seriously, worst.F2.ever. (Even though Heidi was a go.ddess <3) One that I wasn't a part of anyway. *gigglesnort*

What I remember about the game: 1) Arcus! Say what you will about our arrogance, our undeniable schmoozing charm, our hiding in plain sight tactics, but we kinda pwned that game. ^_^ So Aras ruined everything by getting greedy at the end, it still doesn't negate all the awesomeness we accomplished prior to that. "How could this happen? We started out like Romeo and Juliet, but it ended up in tragedy." Speaking of which...2) Voting confessionals! Edin had the very innovative idea of reading what people wrote when they voted...out loud! Eventually my attention whoring self had the brilliant idea of making all my voting speeches Simpsons quotes. Me and Ken/Quid bonded endlessly over that <333 3) The cast and the gameplay. These were people who were willing to take risks, to go beyond tribal loyalty, people who thought outside the box. There wasn't anything boring about the way this game played out. In fact one day, I was so bored and enthusiastic enough...I made a voting chart!



Isn't it beautful? ^_^ I should do one for every game I've played in, unless someone wants to beat me to the punch. But the fact that this game was the first one I felt inspired to make one for (I had at least played in a dozen before Malaysia) speaks volumes for it. Le sigh...Malaysia reunion whenever the hell it finished in a year's time kthx. <3
