7. Alffmix's Mario Party - Funky's Jungle

And with this ranking, there are no more games I won on the list. Told ya my winners were jokes. This game holds a very special place in my heart...since it was the first game I placed higher than 7th in. And seven IS my favo number, so mayhaps there's meaning in that. ^_^ The cast only started with ten people, so I guess you can say winning this game wasn't much of an accomplishment. Unlike say, V2 with 20 people. That I was playing at the exact.same.time. Hmph. =/

This game was so beyond c00t. Every round, we'd play five short minigames that led to people winning "coins and stars" (a Mario Party concept <333). I think 30 coins converted to one star? Or was it 20...whatever. At the end of the round, whoever had the most stars became immune! And what's more...coins/stars were cumulative! =O Interesting concept, not so interesting results. You'd think the biggest challenge whore will end up being so far ahead that no one would be able to catch up, yes? Well that's exactly what happened.

Anywho...I was one of the infamous founding members of "Team Green" an alliance that would end up getting to the end (not without muchos adversity of course). It mainly included Luigi and Wario (who wears green shoes if you wanna get nitpicky) and included the princesses Daisy and Peach in the beginning. Little did we know said ladies were two-timing skanks who were also in the major opposition alliance "Boo's Angels" The first boot was unanimous, and we got complacent. The second round though...was one of the biggest clusterfudge power struggles in ORG history. ^_^ Birdo...(the epitome of mute challege whore, no offense Will =O) was the swing vote with his immunity tiebreaker. To this day I'm still not sure why Birdo sided with us. But whatever, it gave us the number and the Boo's Angels were completely screwed. *giggle*

Oh crap what's gonna be left for my Yoshi write-up? Well the important thing is me/Wario became flipflopping backstabbing douches that everyone hated. First we do it to Daisy, who had warned us about the other alliance and was actually loyal to us. Then we did it to Peach...who may or may not have been so loyal and she was livid <333 Oh yes...and the controversial "twist" that would lead to a VFTW victory At F5, there was a special capsule that switched the coin/star totals of two people. And as luck would have it...it gave me all of Birdo's stars/coins. =O Prior to that, we called Birdo the "immovable object" and pretty much assumed she'd make the finals. >_> Oh and apparently there was supposed to be a coup against me/Wario that round, but Toad took the opportunity to boot Birdo's ass with us. ^_^ I mean...dur. Thank you Toadie <3

I was immune for the rest of the game. Yeah so I didn't earn it. It's not my fault I ended up with the goods, bite me. Toad followed Birdo out the door since he was an "underdog" (the actual reason being he had the closest star total to mine >_>) and I had the tough choice of picking between my Team Green brethren. There was Luigi, the loud, obnoxious, perceived to be stand-up player but actually wasn't de-facto leader of our alliance, then there was Wario...fat, ugly, typed weird, not taken seriously and made every single move with me <3 We were twinsies, except I was better looking ^_^ Of course I took him. And we were roasted at the FTC. Despite there only being 4 jurors, we were roasted. My first FTC experience was so memorable <333

What I learned from this game: 1) Everyone is not always what they appear to be...Peach's M.ORPH from MORP sweetheart to OTTNN raging c.untress after getting booted was quite epical to watch. =O So inspiring. 2) People see me as a fake ass bitch. I got called out multiple times near the end for being rainbows and lollypops. Apparently you're not allowed to be nice and also play the game. Guess I should have pulled a premptive Leo Ku and gone all FUK YU on their delusional asses. 3) Games are very much about luck. Sure a good social game and a strategic mind can take you places, but if you don't have the luck...you get the shaft because of things beyond your control. In this game, I had the luck. 'nuff said.

Anywho Yoshi and Mario Party will always be special to me. I even had a Facebook pic of me holding up a Yoshi doll that had the caption "YOSHIOWNAGE" at the bottom. Many months after the fact nonetheless. But why doesn't it rank any higher? Well...the whole Birdo incident kinda taints whatever I accomplished before and after. The game was completely fabulous, the board, the challenges, the whole concept. But you don't wanna hear from me. I won that shit. =O Oh and then there are six other games that are slightly higher up on the epic scale. ^_^
