It's hit 90 a few days in Minnesota but not Illinois....that's odd
Here in Colorado it's been cool and rainy, a few 80 degree days here and there..... weather here is so strange, it's impossible to keep track of....it could be 80 degrees in February and then snow in May, overall I think this year has been pretty average |

According to the Weatherpeep, it's 59 degrees (14.1 Celsius on my outdoor thermometer) with a light misty drizzle, at 3:20 pm.
About 15 degrees below normal, give or take. |

It appears the remains of invest 90 are now invading Chicagoland - sudden, tropic-like downpours. Temp 77.2. Dr. Salt is powerwashing the upper deck and teak
furniture...in the rain. I am trying to get the "chlorine demand" in the pool to go away in time for our son's 13th b-day party this weekend. At
least it's not snowing, which has actually happened in Chicagoland in May....

This has to be related to some volcano eruption, right? |

It finally hit 80 F here last week, I took all of the plastic off of the windows, turned off the furnace. I had to relight the pilot light and turn it back on
Fri. night. This is the latest I can remember still need to use it.
Todays high was 53 Sign me for more global warming. |

I just want 3 days in a row of 80 degrees with sunshine. Is that too much to ask?
On the good side, my basil plants are THRIVING in this cool weather. |

I think that might be asking too much.
I'd be happy with 3 more 80 degree days this summer. |

Instead of taking the Wendella to Union Station I'll be taking an ark tomorrow.
Colby, I think we will have 4 or 5 days of spring followed by a miserable humid summer... |

Global warming? We're having the coldest summer on record over here (18C).

For Petes Sake, we've had "spring" already. Remember that spring in Chicago means above freezing but still generally shitty weather, not gorgeous
70 degree days. My whole point is that its almost SUMMER (I go with the "meteorlogical summer" definition from Tom Skilling) and we've had less
than a handful of truly warm days.
A miserable humid summer would be fine with me. I grew up in Mississippi so I'm used to those. |
