Bignubber and I made corn/bean salsa this morning. I am REmaking the same soup (chicken tortilla corn chowder) that I made yesterday at my daughter's
request, because apparently I'm getting Alzheimer's, and I put the pot in the microwave instead of the refrigerator yesterday afternoon, and I just
discovered it this morning.
We are also grilling brats for supper. :pissed about the soup |

Beer bread is in the oven (I have a couple of dips for it) and chicken is marinating in a new recipe - if it tastes as good as it smells, we're good to go.
The relatives are supposed to bring sides...so in reality the only edible items might be the chicken and bread. |

i always add onion to the boil and then grill them, too. i have a few bland eaters (old people) coming by and so can't try the spicy.
