The platform that should've taken him up on stage stopped just below stage level and he almost tripped on stage because of it. And then he went backstage and threw a fit about it while stomping down the hallways and then he walked back, to a coke machine and started knocking on the machine with his limpy limpy wrist and said "HELLOOOOO?" I don't know, it was random and funny and I need a gif or a video. So bad. |

I thought he was using it during a reenactment for the camera? Because of a dead mic?
Quick, Claymates, enlighten us! |

I only remembered it as hilarious, but OMG being reminded of the "HELLO?" makes it even funnier.

I just wanted to point out that Adam didn't come up with that version of Ring of Fire. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that he did Dilana's
version from Rock Star Supernova. IMO, Dilana's is better.
Ok, back to fantarding ladies and gents. :) |

He has mentioned the Dilanna (not sure how that is spelled) several times in different interviews. He said, he had heard it and he knew that is what he wanted
to do with the song.

I didn't really like that version of Ring of Fire -- it's a great song in it's on right -- but what I appreciated about (and this was the song that made me pay attention to Adam) it was that he took a chance to do something different. He made the theme fit his style -- instead of making himself fit the theme. Personally, I admire that. |

And too flamingly gay for gay men like ReggieRules and Son of Abraxas.I feel like this is an R rated version of the porridge story. Too hot, too cold, just right. Anyway, I really want nothing more for Adam than to be who he is. I don't think he ever showed that on Idol...but whatever to that. My point? I'm going to hate him anyway. *Shrug* Luckily, I'll never have to seriously have him shoved down my throat either. *Insert herpes joke here* And Idol, for future reference, I like my gay men straight, tysm. |

The people in Dilana's camp also stated that she would love a chance to meet with Adam on the show and do a duet with him. Adam did say to Randy Travis when being mentored that he was doinga version of Ring of Fire that he had heardthat had a middle-eastern flare to it, he just never said it was on Rockstar: Supernova. But a friend of mine insists that Jeff Buckley did a similar version well before Dilana did and that's where Adam probably got it from but I can't seem to find this Jeff Buckley version, I'd love to find it if he really did do a version. |

I freakin' love that clip! You gotta love it when Kim has to take on the role of stage producer or tech person as the crew obviously didn't even pay attention to whether mics were working or not. "lift me up...on the stage" and "hellllo!" is too funny. |

OK, there are several people here who will gleefully tell you that I know whereof I speak on Clay Aiken. He is excellent at being a bitch and has been for
some time. For what it's worth, I agree with a lot of what he said in his blog - he's right about the level of manipulation involved. The place where
he went bitchy was in evaluating both Kris and Adam without actually, you know, LISTENING to either one.

I don't know much about Clay, but I had the same thought--he didn't watch the season, picks Adam's most controversial early performance, and then
goes to the media with his opinion? Bad, self-interest form.
