This territory was already covered repeatedly in the last couple of pages, but I'll re-phrase it one more time.... Yes he introduced his date. And other times he has dodged the question about his sexuality. As far as I am concerned, the true openly gay celebrities are the ones who don't feel the need to dodge the question at all. I wouldn't say he's closeted, but he's not 100% out. Also, saying the words "yes I am gay" instead of dodging a question is not the same thing as being the grand marshall in a gay pride parade. That is a strawman argument. And not all grand marshalls in gay pride parades are gay, and there have been many straight people on the cover of The Advocate so equating those things to saying the words "yes I am gay" does not even make sense anyway. Men don't date men unless they're gay or bi. This 100% "out" stuff is ridiculous. You say you date men when you are a man is saying you're gay or bi. You don't need to say anything more. Unlike Gokey, Adam hasn't run around talking about his religion. Someone on one thread said they thought he might be Jewish. Should the Jews of this country start slamming him for not talking about his religion or for not rallying the Jewish votes? This has always just been a singing/talent contest for Adam. Not a let's hold temple fundraisers and buy up cell phones from other time zones adventure nor a gay rights platform nor "I have a sob story" venture for him. For him, it's been all about the performances. What's wrong with that? X it seems Adam isn't OUT enough for some people. It's pretty funny when you think about it. I think it's as obvious that Adam is gay as it that Obama is black. I have gay family members and almost every guy and some of the women I know at work are gay. Which is why this whole issue is SO offensive to me. They never declare their sexuality like it's something that defines them as a person.
