Its okay if you like Clay and want to defend his hissy fit in his blog. Not many people do so that's nice and all. I think it was ignorant of him to show up on the set and think he would be welcomed by Lambert with open arms just because he is gay too. Talk about a user. Like Lambert said, he doesn't even know the guy, and there is Clay coming out of the woodwork trying to see Lambert? after all the crap he pulled. He must really think he is something, which is sad. I will pity him. And, Lambert really handled it well. I wonder why Clay expected anyway, it isn't like he or the producers owed Clay a thing. Just because you are gay too doesn't mean you get a back stage pass and the opportunity to do a duet with Lambert.

fwiw...Clay was pissy in his blog, but he didn't go to AI to see Adam or any other contestant...he took his baby to show off to friends who still work on
the show. Seriously, looking at the style of stuff he sings , the sound of his voice, and his general style (or lack thereof) do you honestly think he would
see himself dueting with Adam?
Neither here nor there and I'm certainly not getting in a pissing match, just saying that a story from the Enquirer saying Clay wanted to sing with Adam is pretty suspect to start with. Especially since he was photographed there with baby in tow...not exactly what you'd do if you were expecting a business meeting. But again, whatever. |

I thought it was mid-season. The baby might be 9 months old but he isn't always in L.A. The family also spends time in N.C. I would imagine his visit happened when he and the baby were both in L.A. and the time was convenient to meet up with his friends on the production staff at Idol. |
