Adam is polarizing. There will be just as many shitty articles in the tabloids about him as there will be genuine career news in legit media. maybe more. If he doesn't come out and say those 3 little words he'll have the wrath of the gay militants on his ass. Its already started. If playing coy is in his contract with 19, he's only just beginning to find out what that will be like.

Clay very publically stated he was NOT gay in Rolling Stone and again several times until he stopped answering the question with this response "It doesn't matter what I say at this point people will believe what they want to believe" . There is a huge difference between not stating the obvious and an OUTRIGHT DENIAL. If Clay had played coy the way Adam is doing, with a wink and a nod, I doubt the media would've given it much thought. Not to mention the crazy ass rantings of his most rabid fans proclaiming his manhood. I'm sure there are Adam fans out there in total denial but they are few and far between. Clay's entire fanbase was in denial. It was group think and anyone who dared even say the "gay" word got shouted down and ran out of Claynation.
