He's got some points, its just not very strong because he didn't bother to watch the show

I can't believe I went through all that and read the whole thing, but ya, I agree with him. Except for the "more Fantasias part". No, please.
ETA: Yeah, him not watching the show makes him less credible, but he's still on point with the what's what.

It started off as sour grapes, but then seemed to hit the nail on the head. American's want to vote for someone they are pulling for. They like underdogs.
They don't like voting for someone they are told they should vote for. Big difference.
Still, I find it funny after he gave the FU to the producers for like 3 years, he now gets the FU from them |

I'm not really sure it's flattering to Kris for Clay to say that his win was more of a vote AGAINST Adam than a vote for him! that's pretty
insulting and seems dismissive of Kris' talent.
but I did LOL at Clay's "that might've happened in my season too" comment. might've? Clay's just bein snarky I'm sure. He's never intentionally rude or nasty or bitchy, just ask his fans. One thing I do agree on though is that the overblown praise by the judges needs to be toned down. The only problem I have with all of this is that I actually believe Adam deserved all the praise he received. He really was THAT good this season. Gokey on the other hand? not so much. However, they downplayed others in the process which is what pissed a lot of people off. Their comments to Allison and Kris at times were so bizarre and off the wall it was beyond ridiculous. |

I think the biased judging started to get out of hand in Season 6 with the over-hyping of Jorbacca. |

How about we never hear again, "that was the best performance on this stage evah....you're the best evah...etc"
Say someone did a good job. Don't make it like they shit gold or turned bread into wine. |

He sure spewed a lot of shit about a show he claimed he didn't watch. I think he's just jealous 'cause his fans are a bunch of dorky middle-aged
Claymates and he's just a boring housefrau now. Plus, he never got to perform in ginormous platform boots.

In the original Gawker article that I linked in the Adam thread, they
linked to this story, which gives a little insight into Clay's
diatribe against Adam:
'Idol' doesn't want Clay anywhere near Lambert |

Those votes for Kris were also votes to return the show to its roots of finding "real" contestants with undiscovered talent and giving them the chance to grow and shine. They were votes that said "we're tired of seeing contestants who already seem to know it all". I agree with him, here. |

I don't want to give this awful mincy douchebag any props, but the last half of his blog is pretty much dead on. Too bad you have to get through the first
half.

It would be different if he got screwed over after having had a huge falling out, and he has been struggling to achieve fame or fortune. But he is raking in the dough, has legions of fans, yet he is going to dump on a show that made him famous, just b/c he can...without even having watched any of it to be an accurate judge. Sorry but I am not buying it. He's full of crap. Either he continues to watch or he is harboring some sort of animosity toward them and he is trying to get some sort of revenge. |

Clay's probably just jealous Adam is so comfortable in his own skin.

The thing I most love about Adam is that he knows who he is--as a person, as a performer, as an artist, and while exploring and pushing his boundaries, he
stays true to who he is.
Clay struck me as a similar type, so I really don't get the Adam hate, outside of Adam's shrieking, he has changed the AI bell curve. |

Clearly people are stupid if they need Adam to publicly confirm that he's gay.
He was out the other night and told reporters he was with his boyfriend. If you need a bigger clue than that I think you're borderline retarded. |
