Oh, man, alien lizard baby freaked me out as a kid.
So excited for this! Loved the original and always thought it was prime material for a reboot. I remember first seeing Independence Day and thinking, "Meh. If only they would remake V...." |

Man that baby birth was wicked. One of my favourite TV memories as a kid.
My fave though was the Resistance taking control of the press conference and unmasking John on live TV "NOW!" -the Priest

One of my big TV memories was the final scene of the mini-series when they spray painted the red "V" on the door...
It was one of the first cliff hangers I remember... A couple of years ago they reran the entire series on Space... I watched it all and loved it just as much... |

For us oldies:
Do you guys remember the gorilla-style ad campaign NBC waged to promote the 1st mini? They hired people to put up the "Visitors Are Our Friends" etc posters all over select cities. This was about 3 weeks prior to the debut. No info about it being a mini-series or anything to do saying it's for a TV show. Just the propaganda posters. 1 week later they sent out those people with red spray cans and they sprayed Vs all over them. Then the week before the debut they slapped on stickers and other posters advertising that it was for a mini series and when/where it aired Pretty badass. Only like 2 or 3 cities got that though. |

And I remember the TV commercials...just a red V. It had everyone saying, "What's THAT?" They were pretty cutting edge back then. Too bad NBC is in the shitter now. |

A scene that still stays with me from when I was a kid watching this is when the leader reptile lady swallowed the rat whole. As a kid it freaked me the hell
out! Watching it not long ago, the editing/special effects sucked ass!
