Cindy had quite a bit more air time. She also didn't have a span of four episodes without a confessional.

I liked her (still do), yes, but there more deserving people. IMO, in order for the Micronesia cast to be "acceptable," Amanda should have been switched with Peih Gee, Parvati should have been swapped with either Cindy/Twila/Candace/either Courtney, and Fairplay should have been replaced with Rafe or Shane. Those suggested replacements, though, are only suggestionss/my preferances. And also, even though certain others deserved to be there, I could do without seeing them again (Hi Ozzy!).

Surely she had to be more popular than Amanda because she was more visible than her, and she was a more interesting player to watch as well. Courtney apparently turned down the offer to return, but I think Peih-Gee made it pretty far into casting, only cut when they decided to do Fans & Favorites rather than just Favorites. How Amanda made it over her...I will never know. I do like Amanda, but like others have said, there were better choices than her. She gave us one decent episode when she played the idol and blindsided Alexis. Even that is arguable because it was so blatantly obvious that she found it, thanks to the amazing editors of the show.

Pretty much all the girls who made the merge in Vanuatu would have been great in Micro imo, but I get how they couldn't let more than 2/5 of the females be from the same season... especially with Vanuatu being an 'older' season.

First off, I agree with everyone on your list except the ones with exclamation points, along with Jaime, Amanda, and Danielle (mainly because I just don't feel she's favorites-worthy). Michelle's connection with two popular players is what made people love her, just like how they liked Amanda in Micronesia. Michelle was screwed by an unexpected twist, and she was well-liked from her season, plus her shitty edit was probably because the editors didn't want people to feel too pissed off when she was screwed by said twist. I'm not saying Michelle was the BEST choice, but to fill Amanda's spot, she was certainly a very good choice.

I wouldn't be surprised if some people here forgot who the great Brandon Bellinger was. Some people mistake boring people for invisible people. Cindy had a decent amount of airtime but was so overshadowed by the post-merge being almost entirely great characters (including the amazing Brandon Bellinger) that even when she got airtime she was a damp squib. I remember spending the first half of TAR12 bitching about how TK/Rachel weren't invisible, they just sucked the life out of the screen every time they were shown (vs never shown Marianna/Julia).
