1. Kris Allen - Ain't No Sunshine (Better than the first time he did it, miles miles MILES better than anything
else tonight.)
2. Adam Lambert - Mad World (Definitely not as good as the first, and I was pretty underwhelmed, but still ahead of the last four performances.) 3. Kris Allen - No Boundaries (Other than struggling, it was actually pretty good, or maybe it seemed that way, since we just heard Adam murder it.) 4. Kris Allen - What's Goin' On (Bongos <33333 Nothing wrong about being laid-back.) 5. Adam Lambert - A Change Is Gonna Come (I dunno, I actually found it boring, but I guess it's better than having to hear him screech.) 6. Adam Lambert - No Boundaries (Absolutely dreadful) Brain: Kris Heart: Kris Gut: Kris Hedging everything now. |

Add a smattering of Gokey's voters, who certainly won't be running en masse to Adam. A handful of voters will also feel compelled to powervote against Adam. Heart: Allison Iraheta. She belonged in the Finale as much as Kris. Gut: Kris Allen. As solid as Adam was tonight, and as much as TPTB would like Adam to win, I think Simon and Poler saw the handwriting on the wall. If they really do count the votes on this show, Kris Allen just won AI8. |

The Kradam show wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Damn you,TPTB.
Loved both first songs. WTF? on the second round. Fuller could've had Adam sing some Queen and had Kris a Jason Mraz song to sing.

Round 1: Both very good, but Kris's seemed more heartfelt.
Round 2: Both very good. Although I actually liked Kris better, Adam was technically very good. Round 3: You know how the judges are always telling contestants "You could sing anything and sound great"? Well, Kara just flushed that cliche down the toilet. Aside from Kara's turd, this was a pretty strong final 2. Kris upped his game considerably and Adam curbed some of his more annoying tics somewhat. Either would be an acceptable winner, but TPTB have a hard-on for Adam, so that's that. Congrats to both (and especially Kris) for finishing strong. Both should be allowed to urinate on Kara for ruining their night. |

Round 1: KRIS (Adam's first time with "Mad World" was MUCH better)
Round 2: Adam (Kris' song was laid-back and boring, what more could he do with it?!) Round 3: KRIS (I could actually hear that on the radio with some studio work, but I'd rather not  , and Adam did not sound natural at all with it, could never hear his
version on the radio.)
