Final three means higher chance of random douchey alpha male making the jury vote

Females have won on more entertaining seasons. Australia, Marquesas, Amazon, Pearl Islands, Guatemala, and FvF (All-Stars is a fail). Does anyone really care
who won Cook Islands or Fiji? More women have been voted off first, but more women have been in the final four. There are different ways to look at it.

ActingDude17 wrote:I don't think it's Final 3's in and of themselves, but many things seem to coincide with seasons with Final 3's that make it more difficult for women to make it far. 1. Extended pre-merges (11 pre-merge boots in CI, 10 in Fiji, and 9 in Gabon). Women tend to be targets before the merge even in "normal" seasons. Draw out the pre-merge longer, and there is a greater chance for women to be targeted. 2. Shortened post-merges. CI, Fiji, and Gabon were the worst for this, since they merged at nine and had Final 3's, meaning there were only six rounds between the merge and the Final TC. In a normal 10-person merge with a Final 2, there are nine rounds. This gives more people a chance to go on an immunity run. It also gives people more chances to take out alpha males. Shorten the merge and have less challenges, and you give men (like Ozzy and Bob) more chances to skate by with immunities. 3. General weakness of female casting in general. This one explains itself. 4. Twists like the HII. In most seasons, especially the early ones with Exile Island, men were the targets to go, since it was presumed the stay on Exile would weaken them. This is why, until Sugar, only men had found the HII on Exile. China and Tocantins both set up systems that helped this, but in Panama and CI, it was pretty clear that men would get sent to Exile early on, and they'd therefore be the ones to find the idol. |

ThrowMeGabon wrote:your points are valid, but my observation here is that it just seems like there is something intrinsically wrong with people who play this game and have 2 X chromosomes. it's like they just don't ever take the position of true power player, and when they do, there is something or some setup in this game that makes everyone else around them voted them off. the girls that survive and thrive only seem to get there by hanging onto a cock or providing "emotional support" for the alpha male, or some other bullshit. |

Then they implemented many changes to the game which heavily tilted the game in a man's favor. Most likely due to their beloved Terry coming in third. Now at the very least they've fixed these for the most part. A few still linger from time to time (F3). But they still need to cast more stronger women. We probably got screwed this time in that Candace probably could have filled that role but got booted right away. |

They need to alter the game again to benefit females. 4 female winners in a row please.

favoritism is lame. I think the only thing that would be fair is there's 3 challenges designed for the last one: strength, balance, and complex. then
either they can do which ever one they want at the same time (would have to have similar rules obviously like last the longest), or only one is picked at
random.
