I think you're right. I guess I just blocked it out of my mind because I hated the season so much. It was just the season of Grodner pushing for Jerry to
win. I guess I thought of it as a twist that Dan and Memphis were actually final 2. I thought for sure that Grodner would somehow make it be Jerry in there.

I don't want to see any 'relationship twists', but I wouldn't mind seeing some new game twists/new powers.
I think they should introduce a power for a week or so, where the HoH gets to put three people up on the block. Would give the houseguests more options to choose who to evict and perhaps make it more unpredictable. |

I was convinced there would be a three-nominee eviction ceremony in whichever season made the switch from nominee chairs to a nominee couch with removable pillow. That was BB8, wasn't it? I can't recall. I liked the double-HOH twist and think it should return once alliances are set. Do it at F10 and mix it with the three nominee system. Each HOH gets to choose one nominee and then must agree on a third one, at risk of nomination themselves. Either we'd see two members of an alliance as HOH, which means they wouldn't control the vote, or opposing alliances as HOH's with a super-fun third nominee and vote. |

redo that twist from season 4 with the houseguests playing for the veto BEFORE the hoh is decided upon.

That would make the Veto pointless. Just put one person you want on the block up with the person who won Veto. That person will Veto themselves and the HOH gets to put up someone else they want. It would merely remove the option of someone not on the block Veto'ing a nominee. |

I think having the veto before the HOH is known could work, the only thing would be the veto winner would have to be kept a secret and not revealed.

^ Ah, that could be interesting. Have the players do one of the one-at-a-time challenges and not know the results until two days after the nominations. As a one-time gimmick it could be fun, but could easily fail. |

unduli clone wrote:HOH couldn't put the person who has the veto on the block/ If they have the veto, they would be safe from any nomination at all. The HOH would have to put two others on the block. It would also be interesting if the veto holder wins the veto before the HOH is chosen and it's not know who it is until after the nominations are made. Then if they are chosen by the HOH to be nominated, the Veto winner pulls themself off and can chose the replacement but if they aren't initially chosen for nomibation, they can save one nominated person but the HOH gets to pick the replacement. *If Grodner uses this, I want to be paid for the idea accordingly* |

What do you guys think of these twists?
Three Nominees Week In place of a FF week, the HoH nominates three people for eviction instead of the usual two. The veto is played like normal only now 7 people play instead of 6. HoH, three nominees, and three random players. If one of them comes off, another goes up. On eviction night the remaining house guests cast the first live vote to evict one of the three nominees. Once that person is gone. The house votes again to evict the second person OR house guests cast two eviction votes and the two nominees with the most leave the house. The Neutralized Player Each week up to the Final Five, there is one player who can win the title being the neutralized player. During this week, this competition would be held after the Head of Household competition but before the nominations are made. When a player is neutralized, they cannot be nominated for eviction or be chosen as the replacement nominee. Those are the positive sides. The downside is because they are neutralized, they cannot participate in the veto competition and their eviction vote is nullified. I think this would add a new dynamic to the game. At the Final Five, the game would play out as if there are only four players left with one person neutralized. What do you think? |

I loved those 2 weeks on BB4 where the POV was decided before the nominations, it added an extra layer of excitement to those weeks...
Don't think it would work everyweek, but would love to see it happen again this next season at least a couple times towards the end when it gets boring and predictable... |

WarningSpoilerAhead wrote: I like this one because I HATE the FF crap, it's unfair, doesn't give time for the nominees to work people for votes to stay or anything. Nominating 3 & evicting 2 sounds great, they could just vote for the person then want to stay out of the 3 instead of who they want to see go for that week. |

They honestly need something to play out after the veto competition. That's usually like 3 or 4 days of them doing nothing. I don't remember much
from previous seasons, but this season everyone knew who was going home immediately after the veto was played. I like the idea of keeping the veto winner
hidden. Let Julie reveal who won live -- they'd all be fucking nervous. At least try that for a week.

If they ever did a three nominee system, they should abolish veto replacements. 2 nominees is sufficient. That way there is added incentive to use the veto--is
the person you remove going to vote the way you'd like them to?
Second, it may sound dumb, but what do you think would happen if the runner-up of the HoH competition were made exempt from nomination? Maybe just pre-veto nomination? This would encourage people to try a bit harder in HoH competitions instead of the catastrophic amount of throwing that is done up until the Final 6. |

^ I actually like that one a lot. Throwing challenges is a respectable, if boring strategy, but having the runner-up in HOH competitions get something would be interesting. Immunity from pre-Veto nominations or even a guaranteed spot in the Veto competition or an "advantage" in the Veto competition. I think it would add a nice little dynamic to the early weeks. Not revealing the Veto winner until a few days after the competition sounds great to me. Many of the challenges are already set up so that you don't know who wins until the end anyway, so hold off on the news a few days and let the hamsters tremble with fear. And not that it's a twist, but I'd love to see more things that fuck with the hamsters. Mimes, secret rooms, obnoxious alarms, etc. |

Too bad BB can't not get any song rights. It would be funny as hell to play the same songs over and over for 24 hours. I would love to watch the house
guest going crazy.

Wake them up in the middle of the night and tell them they can't go back to sleep. After they play a game (that they think will be Veto or luxury), tell them it was for no reason (this would be fun later in the game when the house divides....people would start rubbing their win in the other sides face and then learn it was all for nothing). I just think that would be fun! As for twists, please, no more "3 of the people in the house have a secret!" crap. Do something to everyone or nothing at all. Most of these twists fail (for example, Dick/Danielle were the only ones who lasted in their season...and that was b/c it was most likely rigged for them). Try switiching things up, like people are suggesting here. Every few weeks throw in a different rule (like the 3 nominee rule) to keep them on their toes and keep things interesting. Also, I'd love to see a return of the "bring back in an evicted houseguest" rule. Maybe even have America vote in 2 people, then have them automatically on the block that week and have the house vote them out...no HoH. If they do the 3 nominee thing a few times this would not even add an extra week to the show. |

They need twists that keep the HG's on their toes and shocks them (especially if the shock is on the LIVE show)... the surprise eviction worked well. Also,
they should have a series of competitions early on where the winners win a slop pass or $1000 or something small but they also secretly win a special power,
and they aren't allowed to tell anyone what special power they won or they lose it or it is assigned randomly to someone else. Each special power could be
used at anytime before the final 4, one can be a special safety pass that they can assign someone secretly one week which keeps that person (not themselves)
off the block that week only, a special vote pass where they can activate and contol one extra vote for one eviction, and a special veto pass where they get a
special secret advantage for a chosen veto competition.
Well I don't know... just more secrets and surprises is what we need, so that the HG's are always on edge and freaking out. |

How about casting ALL unemployed people? Not only do they compete for the $500K, but they each get job placement once the show is done. Wouldn't that
appeal to a lot of people? Unlike TAR, where Harvard educated lawyers win another million.

I liked the secret room twist. That was really exciting to see Racheal find it. They should do that again. Maybe a secret "spy room" like a small
room in between the spa and bathroom where you can sit and evesdrop without people knowing (since so many people go in there to talk). Also secret audio on the
spy screen in the HOH- but only during certain times.
And for CHRIST SAKES bring back America's Choice WEEKLY!! Watching people's heads wobble off their shoulders when the person they hate and we love win choice after choice after choice is pricelesss. Janelle winning every "Americas Choice" then watchig April, Maggie and Ivette spin themselves into orbit was fucking awesome. |
