I would say Amanda on China was much worse then Stephen tonight and the fact that Stephen had virtually no chance going into FTC also accounts into the
equation.

Amanda faced much easier opponents: Todd, Courtney and Parvati were all considered goats to some degree.
Stephen had an uphill battle in the FTC, but that being said, he still was terrible. A FTC performance should be cohesive and present a unified front to the jury, instead of scrambling between wanting to be a player or an honest person. It was the exact same mistake that Amanda made - she tried to be a player yet have integrity, while her opponents simply owned the fact that they were strategists. |

JT played up a really good "betrayed friend" though, and really got into Stephen's head and screwed him up. That being said Stephen still sucked
ass majorly. You talk about how you played the game, not how you grow as a person dumbass. No one wants to hear that. I'm glad Brendan called him out on
it. ^_^

Amanda, no question.
Stephen was bad, but if given the chance, I don't think he'd make the same mistake again. Personally, I thought Bob was way worse than Stephen... but he somehow still won.

No, Neleh in Marquesas was the lamest jury performance ever. Don't you remember? "I just love all you guys." That was her whole argument.
Stephen at least tried. He was just awful at it. JT actually did really well.

Amanda was at least clearly outshined by Todd who really sold his case. I thought JT's jury performance equally sucked. One second he's all about
honesty and integrity, then he's all about being cutthroat and playing the game. I honestly didn't think Stephen was that bad, but for several weeks
now I knew JT had this in the bag because everyone obviously had a hard on for him. He could've told the jury to fuck off and they probably still would,ve
voted for him. So Stephen was in a losing battle from the start.

Amanda blew chunks twice, Neleh was diabetic inducing coma sweet and stoopid, Stephen just was his paranoid self - he would probably be the first to admit it.
I think it was hard for him to speak badly about J.T.- J.T. however did real well. In fact, he used his charm like he had all thru the game and gave some
honest straight forward answers witthout any mumble jumble.

With all due respect, Wyl, I don't agree. I thought JT's jury performance was one of the better ones we've seen. He said all the right things - at
least for this jury. And most importantly, he wisely countered (and shot down) every one of Stephen's points. For all the good ole' country boy hick
image he portrayed this season, JT presented a much more intelligent and effective final argument than Stephen, which was pretty surprising considering their
backgrounds.

The thing is, I expected Amanda to suck.. both times.
Stephen SHOULD have been good at this. But he was fucking horrible. It was like he just walked into tribal without thinking about anything he was going to say and made it up as he went along. I didn't understand what the fuck happened AT ALL. Even Erinn would have got ONE vote against JT. |
