Dream job...stay at home mom. Did that for many years, unfortunately it didn't pay very well so eventually I had to quit.
Current job...went to college and got hired. Definitely not my dream job. I work way too hard for very little reward, but it does pay well. |

Oh yeah Vicc, you're in Alberta right? I hate to tell you that the "special rates" your bank gave you we're probably subsidized from the
Alberta Economic Development and Trade's Small Business Term Assistance program. Sounds like it anyway. I worked on the program. Guess what? If so, more
government teat. Provincial teat but teat non the less

It was actually a Provincial program started by a conservative government to try and move people off the teat and encourage business instead of the usual
throwing around money that happens in Canada. I'd have preferred lowering business taxes myself.
And it's not that good a life. Everybody else is at work all day. Why do you think I hang around with you yahoos?

I started to volunteer at the library, after about 3 months my boss randomly came up to me and said that she wanted to give me an interview and to come with
her to her office and she interviewed me, gave me this really easy quiz (basically what number goes next, and obviously if you didn't pass that you
couldn't get the job because you have to know how to put things in order, it's part of the job) and I got the job. I guess my boss was planning to hire
me about 2 weeks after volunteering because she had me to up to the checkout desk to be trained and I learned after being hired the volunteers don't work
at the checkout desk. I've been working at the library for like 5 years now.
