For sure Stephen told JT he was voting for Coach.
However, I think it was a mistake, because it's very possible that Taj and Erinn will try to force a tie at the next TC, and whichever one of JT or Stephen doesn't win immunity, will be taking his chances with the fire-building challenge. Yes, it's all well and good planning two moves ahead, but what if that gets derailed because they didn't think hard enough about what would happen at F4? |

And if this is to be believed, Taj had the idol the whole time. It was Stephen and Taj before JT was ever in the picture, and JT only came in to be the third vote that saved Taj's ass. We've known for a long time that Taj and Stephen were close; we just never saw it because of this godforsaken "bromance" shoved down our throats. But tonight, Stephen showed who he's (supposedly) loyal to - and JT, it ain't you. It probably never was you. Most of the F2 talk was coming from JT, not Stephen. Planning on what you'll do next in the game isn't the same as planning who you'll take to the end. I believe there's even a clip floating around of Stephen clearly saying he did NOT want to be next to JT in F2. Up until now, I always thought JT would take Stephen, Taj would take Stephen and Stephen would take Taj. At this rate, they'll ALL take Erinn. |

Anyone who thinks Stephen would take JT to the F2 if it was up to him should be banned from ever watching this show again.
..furthermore, these persons should also be banned from operating a motor vehicle and from voting. |

It was a bit early to split from JT... not really sure what his purpose was. They're already sitting in the catbird seat from the dumb luck of no one being smart enough this season to break up a pair... why break it up yourselves? Unless he thought JT would betray him and take Coach so he took Coach out, that would actually would make sense. It's funny but from the Insider videos that Blistering put up it seems the fact that Coach came second to JT in those last two challenges despite all his wingeing about his health made Stephen vote him off. But also JT stated he wanted to take Coach to final 3. So Stephen may have been afraid of that. I don't think at this point Stephen can turn to Taj and Erin and say "lets vote off JT". I think those two silly women would run straight to JT and tell him and Stephen would be voted off and I think he knows that. So he's painted into a cornor and kind of forced to go to final 2 with JT and get second place UNLESS he can win some immunities. |

Because MAAAAAYBE the only person stupid enough to take JT to F2 is Erinn. And I suspect she would rat to Stephen before she ever aligned with JT. E/S/T vote out JT unless he gets the idol, in which case I think they're going to become best buddies again and pick off Erinn. |

For the third time in the third thread.......................
JT and Stephen knew what and who they were voting for, there was a slight fear that Coach may have found a HII at Exile and just in case he did JT voted Erin so she would have two votes (or at least one if Coach voted someone else). So there would be a tie between Erin and who ever coach voted for.................get a clue people. |

Watch Blistering's Insider voting video. JT is the first to vote, and when he holds up Erinn's name, he says "Just a security vote. Sorry." Then he smiles sheepishly. All in one continuous shot. It's clear JT+Stephen+Taj's plan was to vote off Coach, and JT was assigned the security vote in case Coach found an immunity idol and voted to boot Stephen or Taj instead. JT's reaction shots in the broadcast were either acting on his part, or editing of random faces he made during the extended duration of the tribal council. |

i thought he said "just to secure a vote" meaning coach's jury vote. then again i can barely understand anything jt says so i could very well be
wrong

It's possible that JT's vote was the surprise to Stephen if they agreed to vote out coach. It secures a jury vote from Coach (for JT) and effectively
makes Stephen look like the evil wizard. Stephen actually likes Coach so this would bother him on both a personal as well as a game level. It would have been
better for Stephen if it looked like everyone was in on the vote because then no one is the hero or the villain in Coach's eyes.

That makes sense, River50, especially with Stephen's "evil villian" statement along with him saying that JT's vote was strategic. But why
would JT vote against three people in order to secure ONE vote? If Taj and Erinn are pissed (especially Erinn), then he loses two votes to gain one. I'm
not arguing against the idea; I just wonder if JT knows how to count.
