I hope next season starts with Jack's eye opening from a nap on the plane.

Is there a reason why Anti-Jakob (aka "Nemesis") hasn't had his name revealed yet?
Will we see Rose and Bernard again in the finale or was tonight the end of their storyline? Was the "game changer" Jakob's death, the fact that John Locke was really dead, that Juliet died (maybe), or that the bomb went off? Will I do better in the quizzes next year? |

Jacob didn't encourage Locke to bring the O6 back. It was the other guy, posing as Christian who got Locke to bring the Losties back. Jacob's nemesis
has been behind it all.

So Jacob visited Sayid after he got off the island, Kate/Sawyer when they were kids, Jack/Locke/Jin/Sun pre-815 crash. Why the different time periods in their
lives?

I wonder if the key that Desmond turned in the crawlspace of the hatch also blew up a small nuke. This explosion might cause something similar to happen with
everyone showing up naked in the jungle next season, everyone except for Phil and Juliette.

Has it been brought up about "Jakob" being the cause of Nadia's death?
ETA: Oh, hell! Maybe it was to SAVE Sayid. *smacks forehead* |

Jacob's nemesis has been behind it all.Jacob's nemesis got Locke to die by promising it would fix everything (and that his death would get the others back.) I guess we don't know if what he said was true. I think he just wanted Locke dead so he could take over his body. And Jacob did convince Hurley and rambo chick to get on flight 316. Nose bleed. |

Jacob and Esau - the first twins in the Bible.
Looking back to season one and that Gary Troup book The Bad Twin suddenly makes sense. JACOB WAS A TWIN, IN THE FIRST SET OF TWINS EVER MENTIONED IN THE BIBLE. He is among the most famous twins in literature (along with Castor & Pollux, Romulus & Remus, etc.) Here's the story: Jacob and Esau were the twin sons of Isaac & Rebecca. Rebecca had a very rough pregnancy because they were always fighting inside her. Esau was born first w/Jacob following behind holding on to his brother's heel (hence the name "Jacob.") The heel-thing shows that they were each fighting to be the 1stborn. Esau was a hairy hunter/outdoorsman. Jacob was a smooth-skinned sophisticate who "dwelled in tents." a Jacob was the favorite twin but Jacob could never get over not being first, so one day he forces his brother to sell him his birthright. Later on, when they were adults and Isaac was blind and close to death, he told Rebecca to send in Esau to come into his tent to be blessed. Rebecca told Jacob to wear a goat skin and pretend to be Esau so he could receive his father's blessing instead. So, basically, Jacob screwed over his brother twice and Esau never got his comeuppance. |

I'm gonna go with ESAU. Still pissed over the loss of his birthright.

not sure if anyone has said this yet...
Nemesis has all of Locke's memories... Smoke Monster downloads memories (Eko, Ben, and Kate/Juliet) |

Time to resurrect The Stand thread. I thought it was a good finale, I'll wait until I re-watch it to call it great. Not sure about the smoke monster being
anti-jacob just yet, but it could be.

I don't know, I just didn't love this finale. There were to many forced situations/dialogue for me. Both Sayid bleeding to death while Jack and
Sawyer talk about Kate and Juliet being pulled down the shaft by some random chains made me cringe.
I still love the show and will be back next year, but this whole whole season felt a bit rushed and contrived. |
