That was the worse leg ever. Our bus was three hours behind the first and there was no way the other teams could make up any time.

It was also the worst road block of all time. They had no chance to improve their placement. In some ways it was better than the foot massage one, if only because all four teams at the back at least had an even fair shot of getting to the sign-up numbers first, whereas the TAR14 example was based solely on taxi lottery. The only thing that was horrible about it was having the pitstop immediately afterwards. If they'd had an additional task to determine which team made it onto which bus and had two NASA-themed challenges, it would have been decent. |

I havn't watched TAR 10, 12-14, so I don't know how much those tasks have sucked. I'm fine with a detour being a first come first serve because you always have the other option (like Kami and Karli waiting to sky dive), but the roadblock was ridiculous. Also, it had two people from each team doing it. A roadblock is supposed to have one person from each team compete. They should have let two teams go at a time, then there would have at least been a foot race to the pit stop instead of an auto elimination. |

A roadblock is supposed to have one person from each team competeThere's been similar tasks before that required both team-members doing something (the camels in TAR1, the cameras in TAR4). And almost all the bungee ones have been first-come first-served, so it wasn't anything new there -and even though they're my least favourite types of task, at least it was different than "climb down/jump off a building". It's the placement of the task, not the task itself that sucked - if the pitstop was harder to find, it wouldn't be so terrible. |

There was a big storm coming so they had to move things along. I read we were supposed to all get there and then sleep over at Space Camp. In the morning we were to ride moon buggies and then the elimination would have happened the next day. |

Understandable to see Meredith and Maria down here. As we leave the bottom 25% of teams, we're now heading into the "meh" category or the
"I don't hate them but I don't love them" territory. Here is one example. An okay team, fine at racing. They were just eliminated early
and bitched about driving stick. So they kind of deserve this position.

Well, with this batch, I'm not surprised about Aja & Ty being so low, given all the bitching and moaning about them on the last popularity poll. Ditto Anita & Arthur. Hope & Norm were nice, but also forgettable, so I can see why they'd be down here. Tyler & James were the winning team I'd suspected would show up around this time, so no surprise to me that they did. Okay, I'm aware of the very irrational Margie & Luke hate, but not even in the top one-hundred? That's just wrong. . . . Oh, well. In terms of parent/child teams, they beat Steve & Josh, at least. So that's good. Still, maybe now, everyone will stop bitching about them. Surprised by the Kim & Leslie love, though. While Leslie ticking Amie off was funny, what did Kim do other than cry on the very first leg? Over something that wasn't even all that bad? I give Eve a break for her first-leg meltdown, since skydiving is kinda scary. But swinging down into the canyon? Not too scary at all. Dennis & Andrew, eh? This is about where I figured they'd pop up, so no surprise about that. Michael & Kathy should've made it farther, though. |

Here is one example. An okay team, fine at racing. They were just eliminated early and bitched about driving stick. So they kind of deserve this position. I actually remember M/M being arguably the most incompetent team in the history of the show. In their two short legs: - they drove about 3 hours out of their way, simply because Aaron pointed out the window for them to go in the opposite direction - Meredith got passed by 60+-year-old Mary Jean on the ice wall climb - they got beaten in a foot race to the first mat - they had trouble rowing the boat in the joint team challenge - they didn't just bitch about driving stick, they were completely and utterly clueless about it, and it's what ultimately got them eliminated. On the bright side, they weren't terrible people like most other teams on their season, so I guess they got a little pity for their ineptitude. I think their placement here is about right. |

I actually remember M/M being arguably the most incompetent team in the history of the show.Don't forget that despite getting bunched the following morning, falling into last place because of their complete lack of co-ordination on the Detour. Second weakest team ever after Debra/Steve. |

The highest drop so far is with Aja/Ty who went down 26 places compared to their previous rankings.
There has been a few changes on who were in the bottom 20%. Last survey, no TAR3 teams at the bottom 20% but now there's 2, and it's surprising that Kim/Leslie (just barely) and Deidre/Hillary have gotten out of the bottom 20%. And while on the TAR3 topic, why the sudden downgrading of those teams? Predictions: 1. Bilal/Sa'eed and Shola/Doyin 2. Deidre/Hillary 3. Brandon/Nicole 4. David/Mary |
