But TAR2 featured the shock elimination of an alpha-male team in Episode 4, and a hugely diverse group of people at the end (including the same family/partners/friends split). The predictable guy-domination that TAR3 is supposedly amazing for overcoming wasn't really an issue until TAR4.
Points -
1) Even though D/D did shitty on two legs, did anyone really expect the alphas to be so close to elimination so early on?
2) Most of the young couples went in the middle of the series, with JVJ (who weren't really amazing) and Flo/Zach (who got NEL'd twice, not to mention who had to deal with Flo's ever decreasing mental state) being the exceptions.
TAR3's boot order = A++, TAR3's cast = B-, since the possibility of a Heather/Eve, Aaron/Arianne and Andre/Damon Final 3 would have been worse than any TAR2 combination.
