I did watch Rachel Ray when the 6 finalists were on, and like I said before, Melissa was really selfish, talking almost the whole 5 minutes. I thought Michael
might be going home because of that.
In terms of cooperation, time sharing and working as a team, Debbie and Katie did the best. Actually, I think Debbie gave Katie more time and Katie surprisingly did really well, confident and natural. It was definitely her best presentation. That's why I'm surprised at her boot. I like Debbie and I'd watch her show, but I don't think she will win. If she were Japanese or Chinese, she may have a chance, but being Korean and all, I don't see her winning, unfortunately. It'll probably be that annoying soccor mom.

Had Katie's chicken been prepared better I think she would have been spared. But her cooking, although healthy, just didn't wow anybody. Its great to
cook healthy and nutritious but if it doesn't taste good it defeats the purpose.

Anyone else think Rachael Ray has hit the wall hard? I have always found her supremely annoying and I had a hard time watching her last night, but damn! At
least she used to be cute-ish. What happened to her? She looks like she cut her hair with a hatchet, but it's something else too. She looks horrible!

The Jameka edit didn't bother me. It was obvious they weren't going to cut her, after making it seem all week like they were going to (no newbie to
reality show editing here). And it gives her a redemption story now.
I'm surprised that it didn't really seem like anyone rehearsed how they'd switch off presenting. Those that took over ended up not looking like a team player. And really, do you want to interrupt someone who's supposed to be your partner? Yes, it's a competition, but fighting on live TV for the spotlight doesn't seem very professional. Glad Katie and her scary face are gone. |

I think this season is great for the drama aspect, but the contestants (and I'm sure a lot has to do with their edits) aren't very likable. The judges
I feel on this show are very critical and harsh, but one of the best in terms of quality eliminations and never for shock value. While it may be predictable,
it's nice to see a show where the judges make good decisions.
With that said... Debbie: I have a feeling she's in trouble next week, seems like there's grill drama between her and Jeffrey, she says that she was "selfless" so I dunno...next week should be drama for her. I don't like how she always plays the victim, but she has remained calm and collected during showtime. The "throw this in there because I'm Korean" shtick has got to end. She is the one that would have the best show, IMO, but I don't think viewers like her all that much, unless her edit gets a MASSIVE turnaround. Jeffrey: I don't like Jeffrey, don't know what it is about him. Maybe smug? Bland? Fake? Just quite can't put my finger on it. But if they let him slip through to the finals, I think he'd win over any of the women hands down. He has had the most positive edit out of all, besides Melissa. Melissa: She did well this week, but she is SO intense. I feel almost uncomfortable watching her. As far as edits go, I think she is the only one that could beat Jeffrey or come close to it in a vote. Michael: I think he is a dark horse, but his personality is definitely a little grating, but maybe that's just me. I think he deserved bottom two this week solely for his "when I look in the camera I see the depths of hell" comment. That will cost him later...he didn't really get focus in the previews, so I have a hunch he might be leaving us. Jameka: Her edit hasn't been all that good as of late...she is SO different in front of the camera and in confessionals...I think she's warm and bubbly in front of the camera usually, but haven't that huge two-sided face is going to hurt her in a vote. Katie: GOOD RIDDANCE. Thank god she's gone. And I totally agree with that one judge...her talking to those kids was SO condescending...she acted like they were really stupid or had some sort of mental disability. The kids weren't THAT young! I have a feeling Michael and Jeffrey are going to leave us with a finale of the women...which would be okay, because if it's a vote, it's the only way they're going to get a woman to win this season. |

This isn't about being a restaurant chef where you have to serve the food as it's actually made. That being said, I have no problem with Katie going, because she has no charisma and conveys no passion for her food in a way that would make a viewer want to cook it... |

Am I the only one who watches this show and can't believe how gross these dishes are turning out? I'm not getting any ideas on cooking dishes
differently. I really don't know who is going to win this season. I want to like someone or at least pull for them but I come up blank.

I was thinking overall I think Michael has had the fewest misses. After him Melissa has had the most compliments? I just don't think her dishes are that
complex.
