Maybe I'm just a stupid polyanna, but Survivor isn't just a numbers game, it's a pyschological one and figuring out what makes other people tick.

Jan's move of not forcing the rock locks herself in for competing against Brian and Clay -in which they've just told her she can now finish third instead of fourth. based on her knowing Helen and how she ticks, no way she'd have Jan save her and then not return the favor -the odds are better of making that attempt at saving Helen and risk losing fifteen/ten thousand as opposed to gaining thirty or 930 thousand more. Of course, there's also the way of how can Jan convince Helen -that would not go smoothly either. Jan goes to Helen and say their going to vote her out, and Helen thinks it's a last minute play, says something to Brian who says Jan's just trying to stay in the game and can work on Helen to convince her to keep voting Jan- and probably gets a two vote Helen; one vote Jan and one vote Clay.

With Cindy, I personally would have a hard time turning around and voting out someone who just gave me a car without looking like a heel, a dirt bag, etc. I can see voting her out in the next few rounds though -and probably even say, I'll give her the car back.

I'm hard pressed to think of blunders that weren't blunders -but loving this thread. The Jamie/PG one was a good choice.

*And good christ, Jenna should have forced that tie- I always believe you have to get yourself to that final two first and never, ever rely on immunity. HOWEVER, All-stars made a big blunder in the system. Ever position you made it further, you got A LOT more money that regular seasons -I think Jenna making it one more round than Rupert, got like 50 thousand more. Imagine what the game would be like if everyone just got a stipend except the winner -it would be so much different -and really nasty. But so many people come out winners simply because they got so far -some twenty year old getting sixth place and pocketing 45- 50 thousand for two months and on TV? Yeah, not losing.
