Guatemala is underrated. It's not one of my favorites like Amazon but it was just too bitter and evil. At least Danni came out on top. I was rooting for
her after Amy left.

Danni was by far the most invisible winner in the history of Survivor.

There have been many totally repulsive spazzcadets on Survivor over the years (fucking Lameass Lil, for instance. On this season CuntRoach Ben Wad), but none
who've made me wish for their violent and painful demise more than that fucknut, Dreamz.

I cant wait to start Fiji again! But im in the middle of Gabon and Palau right now, and then Exile Island is next on my list
I find that Outback is waaayyyyy overrated, and I think that's the general consensus here at sucks, but the public seems to adore it. There were really only 3 worth all stars (Tina, Colby and Jerri) (and maybe Elizabeth), but Alicia and Amber shouldve never been allstars. And there wasnt much strategy, and the only big move that really stands out was Tina convincing Colby to take her over Keith. Very overrated pile of doo-doo. |

I kinda is agree with you with Outback, there's wasn't really that much of strategy compare to the recent seasons that much its always Kucha VS Ogakor its most about living in the camp. And Alicia and Amber were boring! but they aren't really the first choices for All-Star, Brian (S5), Sandra (S7), Elisabath (S2) and Jon (S7) didn't accept the offer to All-Stars so they are just replacements. |

Although had Sandra not been sick she would have taken her place for sure. One big character cancels out another. Colleen and Elisabeth would have replaced Jenna L. and Amber. And in the off-chance Brian accepted, I doubt we would have seen the return of Boston Rob. It's also worthy to note that Clay actually had promotional photos taken and everything, only to be cut at the last second, same went for Kelly G. As for Outback being overrated. you can't really say that when you've got seasons that are crazy and out of control with strategy nowadays. Australia was a continuation of Borneo but they were still trying to figure out the game, in a way it's the first true Survivor season with everyone having a strategy. But everyone was also laid back and cared for one another more than the game for the most part, which isn't the case now with all these Immuntiy Idols and blindsides coming left and right. The game has changed drastically. Because the players have upped the anti in strategy, the show has become that. In Survivor 2-9 we probably received about 60% Character Building, 20% Strategy, 20% challenges. Borneo was a whole other monster with about 80% Character Building, 30% Strategy, and 10% Challenges. Survivor: Palau is where the editing changed a bit and stayed with until Guatemala which was: 30% Character Building, 40% Strategy, 30% Challenges. Exile Island felt like an older season and had it's original stats but Cook Islands and Fiji really kept the trend that Palau and Guatemala created. China fell back into the catagory of 1-9/12, Fans vs. Faves was a bit weird because for the first time ever we only had 10 newbies to focus on and they actually managed to accomplish covering most of them, strategy was first and foremost to the season, but character development was there. Gabon brought a fresh feel to the game introducing character development with strategy giving it about a 40% Character Development, 40% Strategy, 20% Challenges, which seems to be a fair balance. Tocantins is a bit strange because although characters stand out, other than the Jalopals and Coach, nobody really had any depth to them. I couldn't give you a fair reading on it yet. Secondly, back to Outback, I am sick of the misconseption of Tina convincing Colby to take her to the end was strategy. That final vote was equal playing field and it wasn't like Kieth and Colby were buddies. In a season about good people making it to the end, Colby stuck to his morals and brought his friend to the finals. Was it a dumb decision? Oh hell yes, it was. But it wasn't Tina being some brilliant genius, otherwise we would have seen a bit more of that. Afterall, it wasn't like they didn't have time in a 3 person, 2 hour finale. Australia is a classic. Does it stand the test of time for viewing....eh, not when you've gotten used to more recent seasons. |

I would argue that Borneo actually had more sophisicated strategy overall than the Outback. If you look at everyones plans for winning from the final eight up,
almost all of them played rationally(Except for Sean). You can't say that about Australia.

And let's not forget that Kelly would cop out with her vote and things like that too, which kinda didn't help things.

Well Kellys plan was to go to the finals and look "ethical". So she must have thought it was better to just stick with her original alliance and
throw in a few Sean votes to look morally conflicted. Not that she wasn't genuinly conflicted, but she was still trying to win badly.
