I hope they stick with it.
And would anyone want to see Best Male and Female Reality Contestant awards added? I'm not sure if I love or hate the idea...

To focus back in on the actual show itself for a moment, dividing the categories up really worked well. The show felt quick but not rushed, the video packages
at the beginning set the tone for each, and it overall just gave each section a certain level of building anticipation, even if you were certain of the result.

Cranston owns [everyone] in Breaking BadHad to fix that. Hugh Laurie will get his due someday when the show ends (he has won at the Globes and the TCAs, at least) or maybe even this season as I heard that tonight's episode of House is basically just huge Emmy bait for him. |

The phoniness it too OTT now, if they could actually get awards for it, it would get so bad I'd probably have to stop watching all reality tv. On second thought, maybe that would be a good idea. |

Reality contestants do *not* deserve Emmys. Neither do reality hosts.

McWolcott wrote: They better recognize. IMO, there should be a lot of acting noms, at the very least, supporting noms for Nelsan Ellis, Alex Skarsgaard, Deborah Ann Woll, and even Ryan Kwanten & Chris Bauer; and special guest star noms for Michelle Forbes and Allan Hyde. I guess Anna P. & Stephen M. will get lead noms, but I am more impressed by the supporting cast than either of them. |

I agree on:
Cranston deserving the Emmy - Love Laurie but Cranston is amazing in Breaking Bad. No reality contestant Emmy's. Yes to host Emmy's but Cat Deeley needs a nomination next time around and if TAR wins best reality show again they should just drop the category until there are enough reality shows out there that give TAR a run for its money among the academy voters. Seems a little pointless to have the award if there's only ever one show that has any chance of winning it. |

I've never seen Breaking BAd - I don't even know if I get that channel, but I'd love to see it.

I love the character House, but it's not as much of a stretch for the actor as BC's character -- not even the so-called Emmy-bait episode, which was
kind of a letdown.

I watched all of season 1 of Breaking Bad before I realized that Walter White was played by the same guy who was Hal in Malcolm in the Middle. That's how
good Bryan Cranston was (in my opinion as I'm usually good at placing faces even if I don't know the actors name). Didnt even recognize him and it
wasn't just the look... it was the total performance. It amazes me that the man could go from playing a character who was essentially just a big kid (and
one of the funniest parts of MitM) to a desperate, pissed off cancer-stricken teacher-turned-meth-cooker. I loved it when he won his first Emmy for the BB role
and even though I fell behind on the second season of BB I'm sure he deserved the one he got this year.
