RESCUE ME was too much of the Denis Leary show for a drama nomination for me (but that never stopped HOUSE in the past). Plus, I thought last season was complete shit, but they could turn it around this season. My picks for best drama would be: BREAKING BAD (easily the best show on TV) FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS LOST MAD MEN DEXTER BIG LOVE (THE TUDORS would be a very close 7th for me)

It doesn't even matter who else is nominated.

For not having any acting experience, Evangeline is actually pretty solid. And you can't blame her for people hating Kate. It's the writing and the people who thought it would be great to have a love story be the center of a greater story. No one likes someone who strings men along and is unstable, which is what the character of Kate is/does.

I've never seen a show, other than maybe Dexter, that relies so heavily on the abilities of its main actor. He seriously carries the show, even in the first few seasons when the show was good.
