Lola is adorable! I have a 15-year old Border Collie mix and he would fail at least five of those. However, he stills runs, jumps, herds dogs/children, and
chases squirrels/rabbits/birds like a puppy. You can always get one of those robot dogs ... I think they can pass that test.

OMG YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED!!!!
So we went to this BORDER COLLIE reunion today and had a great time except for Lola who was miserable cause she doesn't like crowds of dogs and I signed her up for the Canine Good Neighbor test and mt breeder asked me to sign up JC as well since the proceeds went to a BC charity. So why not. Anyway, it's been almost a year since Lola and I started working on this together but I've never worked any of the requirements with JC before. Of course Lola totally failed for refusing to let the evaluator brush her and I was sad but it wasn't a great shock and then I had to pull JC away from playing (running, playing running!!!)to take his test and I was all like whatever he's such a spazz and omg he PASSED! JohnnyCash is Canine Good Neighbor certified!! |
