There are some who have been trying to provoke a war (and are still doing so, in this thread... the main offender being an Allison fan and another a professed Gokey fan). I actually like both Kris and Adam. The fans' maturity level or lack thereof, however, can be staggering. On both sides. I can't go into either fan thread without rolling my eyes anymore. Just in this thread alone, there are the following catty remarks: Maybe Kris should do some more publicity so his album will sell better. hey, at least people are still talking about him..... are they talking about Kris AT ALL? i see you're trying to flame some sort of fantardwar. typical lambtard. Why is it that whenever a valid point is made, the Kristards always accuse the Lambtards of being "Typical Lambtards" instead of addressing the fact that their boy's album is slipping further down the charts as our's is moving back up? About the same as the ones when Kris' winner's gigs dry up and he is quietly dropped while working on his second album, that is if anyone notices.

Jive will start with a Pink-lite single and they'll try to go Kelly Clarkson/Disneyfied as well. Any of her fans who think she'll do real rock are nuts. I kind of hate the singles Kelly has put out to revive her career. Allison will just scream they louder and will less nuance. If there is a God, she'll flop. But there is no God. Madam - has the most devoted fanbase and PR. I can't see the general audience buying the Kiss meets Clay he'll do on his album. Strong early sales but no longevity, doubtful as a recording artist. Broadway here he comes. Kris- absolute dark horse. Has tremendous potential but is massively boring as well. Could be the biggest male winner of Idol ever. I seem to recall Kat McPhee winning an award from them. :lol: The thing is I'm not sure about Adam. I don't think the issue is really his clothes/makeup or being gay. I think the issue is mainly his singing style and musical choices... And it's his musical choices that for me make me question Adam... I mean Kat had a very good technical voice too. But her musical choices for her ablum stunk...So it's all about the voice, no it's not all about the voice. The music you make matters. The thing with Adam is not only was his vocal stylings polarizing. He was great on One, why did it have to do those upper register runs... But well, there's Adam's original material. I question the wisdom of anyone who would sing that song Glamorize. Who would actaully present it to the world, and was it something he sent as a demo tape. Words for me do not describe how bad it is. However, then again as an Idol person, if the producers make all the choices for Adam. Then hey, he could have a big record. But once he started getting more control..... In contrast, Kris's voice isn't that distinguishable. And he doesn't have Adam's range. But when it comes to musical taste in my opinion. It's actually no contest. It's funny when I hear all the time how original/artistic Adam is. Adam strikes me as actually a 70's 80's throwback.; I actually think Adam is more of an entertainer than he is a musical artist. Kris strikes me as someone who is way more into music, for music's sake....And I wasn't bowled over by all of Kris's songs although he was young. I was impressed big time by the melody of "Land of Smiles" talk about beautiful. I see Kris at least attempting to make meaningful music to be quite frank. It's funny how that is. As for him being successful. Well, the thing is Kris isn't Taylor. His sound is actually marketable and sells records. He's cute to look at. I can easily see him having at least Jordin like success. I think that Allison though is the most marketable of them all...
